Review: Short Bowl for a Short Cat! - This is a nice sturdy crock of a bowl. I usually use stainless steel bowls but my newest cat (a Munchkin) was putting her front feet up on the side of the taller bowl and it would start to tip with her when the water level was lower. This crock is heavy enough (even when empty) that it doesn't tip over or spill with her... and she doesn't need to put her feet on it to reach it. It's pretty, heavy, and easy to clean and looks as good now as when I ordered it months ago. Unless I drop it while cleaning, it should last a lifetime and since it's heavier, I don't see any spilling because it doesn't move when the cats try to pull it with their paw like they sometimes do.

The sides are straight, and the ceramic is heavy enough not to slide around (they're on a mat) when she eats/drinks. Easy to clean, and can be put into the dishwasher. Note that the bowl will heat up in the microwave...but I only heat my 5" bowl for 10 seconds so it's not an issue. (yes, my Pom doesn't like her food cold from the fridge)

This is a nice sturdy crock of a bowl. This bowl is absolutely perfect. My boy throws everything around, has knocked over every water bowl I’ve used. Not this one! The design is perfect, while it is somewhat shallow, it holds plenty of water as it is almost the size of a dinner plate. Highly recommend!
