Our shower sealing strips after fourteen years of use had discoloured and needed replacing. The required fin length was 10mm, so it was a case of choosing either the 8mm or 12mm fin as a replacement. I opted for the 12mm fin to fit the 6mm glass panel. The strips require a certain amount of pressure to engage them, but once done are an excellent tight fit. Cutting was easy with a junior hack saw followed by a fine tooth file and Stanley knife for the softer fins. The 12mm fin is not ideal as the shower door "scrapes" against the fixed glass part when fully opened, but at least it doesn't slide open on its own now! I couldn't find an alternative product on the market that was of this quality, which from a supply and demand point of view explains the high cost. I would have expected these to sell for around £25 a pair, not £35. However, they arrived within 24 hours in a very strong 2.1m long cardboard tube and they look great.

Great service and a great product. I made the mistake of buying cheap and quickly regretted it. This product is rigid and delivered in a cardboard tubeand to be honest, nothing else is worth thinking about.

I am coming to the end of a refresh and remodel of my old bathroom. The only thing i haven't changed are the tiles & the shower cubicle, as these were cleaned up. One thing i hadn't considered whilst revamping the shower unit was these sliding glass door seals. My old ones were 15 years old and looked it! Brittle with age, they weren't really doing the job intended. I didn't know if these came as part of the shower glass from the manufacture or were generic ones, so after taking measurements of the old ones plus measured the actual gap between the glass door and fixed panel, and noticed that the old seals didn't actually meet anymore when door was closed. I needed wider ones...and found these, placed my order. They arrived in a large thick cardboard tube. Fitting these couldn't be easier. I simply removed the ones, placed them to the new ones, marked the difference and snipped off the excess with a pair of heavy duty scissors. After steam cleaning the glass, i used a little soapy water to lubricate the new seals before pushing them on. Easy as pie and they fit perfectly. Very happy.

These are good quality material, but they make a terrible grating noise when opening (or closing) the shower doors. I have tried everything to stop it, even trying to lubricate with soap, but still the noise continues. They are very expensive for what they are.

Je cherchais un joint large et j'ai enfin trouvé cet article qui a bien remplacé l'ancien.

Il manque juste un conseil pour la découpe, assez difficile, des joints.
