The headline says it all. This mount balances the projector well, has some detents at common angles, and is heavy enough to be stable. But, the addition of a simple threaded hole on the bottom of the mount would make it far more versatile. I would have been interested in mounting this on a small tripod or directly to a wall/ceiling. Instead I remove the projector from the mount and use a tripod with an articulating head, or mount a shelf to the wall and then set this on top.

I have a Anker Nebula and I have used standard camera stands till I got this one. It has been one of the most productive purchases I have done. These take relatively way less spaces compared to tripods or other stands. Their angle and direction are easy to manipulate as well. I have it on the coffee table at the side of my bed and it helps projecting cleanly without issues. Note that you need to turn on obstruction detection on your projector so that it autoscales to avoid other obstructions.

It’s a little pricy but it shows in the quality. Would buy again. Mich better than the one that came with my capsule air.

The stand seems well built but has one big flaw, with the hdmi cable installed it’s unable to pivot more than a few degrees without the hdmi cable interfering with the base of the stand. Of note, none of the pictures on the product listing show any cables attached to the projector. I purchased these which allow the stand to pivot with a HDMI cable. Could not live without this gimbal stand. Ultimate accessory for the Nebula. Allows us to project at all angles. Fits like a glove - maybe even better!

It's solid and does precisely what it needs to. Great to have a sturdy piece of kit, it makes the projector feel more solid when stood up on it!

This base is well made like the capsules of solid aluminum and positions the projector in any orientation perfectly, precisely and without any issues. I was using a flimsy tripod at first and this was exactly what I was hoping for. Skip the smaller one since this is the same price and not at all such a hokey setup. Too bad this wasn't the one that fit in the official case instead.
