Easy to use
I was tired of shelling out a fortune at the garage every time your car's air conditioning needs a top-up, ClimaSet Replacement R134a Gas could be exactly what you're looking for. As someone who took the plunge and did the job myself, I can confidently say this product offers a cost-effective and surprisingly straightforward alternative to professional services. The primary appeal here is the significant saving. Garage fees for AC re-gassing can be exorbitant, often charging for labour and parts that are, frankly, quite simple to handle with the right product. ClimaSet cuts out the middleman entirely, putting the power (and the savings) back into your hands. The product itself is designed for DIY accessibility. While you'll need to ensure you have the correct hose and gauge (often sold separately or as part of a kit), the actual process of connecting and charging your AC system is relatively intuitive. There are plenty of online tutorials, and with a bit of patience, even a novice can achieve a successful re-gas. After using ClimaSet, my car's AC was blowing ice-cold air again, just like it should. It felt incredibly satisfying to have resolved the issue myself, knowing I'd avoided a hefty garage bill. However, a word of caution: It's crucial to follow the instructions carefully and ensure you're using the correct amount of gas. Over or underfilling can lead to performance issues or even damage. If you're unsure, it's always wise to consult your car's manual or a reliable online guide. Overall, for the confident DIYer looking to save money and take control of their car maintenance, ClimaSet Replacement R134a Gas is a highly recommended product. It delivers on its promise of an effective and affordable AC re-gas, freeing you from those recurring garage expenses.

Don't buy from this vendor
The can valve didn't turn off. It over filled my aircon and I had to bleed of the extra pressure. The can than sat an blew the remainder in the air. The vendor didn't respond to my complaint until Amazon just gave me a refund. The vendor then asked for the item to be return but didn't send a return label. Amazon then sent them a note and at the last minute I received the return label. I took the box to a UPS drop point and off it went only to be returned to me 3 days later as it apparently needed export forms. I am waiting for the next move in this fiasco.

Worked a treat, simple to use, van now has AC again.
Worked a treat, simple to use, van now has AC again. Just be sure to unscrew the metal valve before attaching it to the can. Then clip adapter to Low Pressure LP port, ensuring the adapter clicks on securely. Then screw the metal valve in to the canister... There was just enough to top up my wife's car as well.

DIY air con refill
Did the job, air con fully functional again. Some tips, lock the valve that connects to the cannister anti clockwise before connecting to the can. Turn on car turn on air con and blower full blast. Once the connection is on the low pressure port of your car and the other connection on the can, turn the valve on the can full clockwise then check the psi on the guage, if you need to top up then dial back the valve anti clockwise gradually, keeping an eye on the guage, also the can must be held upside down. All in all, straightforward

Can not thread can to hose - contents sprays everywhere. (product : 1 box of R134a 170 g + hose)
Colour Name: 1 box of R134a 170 g + hose [Update review from 1 star to 3, as there is still room for improvements.] Initially I could not screw the can to the hose without contents spraying everywhere (I thankfully wore thick work gloves else i'd now be in A&E with a frozen hand. I went for this as it wasn't the cheapest so assumed I'd get a suitably ok product, my best advice, get a local garage quote and pay the extra £20. Anyway, - To "fix" the issue mentioned, good instructions supplied would firstly be VERY helpful, next:- - TO SCREW THE CAN INTO THE HOSE (TAP) YOU MUST UNWIND THE TAP AS FAR AS IT POSSIBLY CAN GO THEN THE 2 WILL SCREW SAFELY TOGETHER !! - It'd help if this were noted somewhere otherwise this is a severely dangerous health hazard causing contents to spray everywhere if this tap unwinding is not firstly opened and someone were to attempt without gloves. The retailer should spend 10 minutes and create an A4 instructional to supply with all items regardless what's on the can, which is barely anything. 2nd thing to note is to insure the nut below the tap on the hose that will be now at the top of the can, is tight, mine wasn't and i lost half the cans contents. After that watch as many you tube videos as you possible can. It took 20+ before I found 1 mentioning the tap being unwound to as far as it possibly can go. It's not something you'd expect to do, I'm sure most would presume doing so would let all the cans contents out but in this case turning the tap in (left) lets the contents out. Thus Righty/Tighty does not apply here. End of story, I got enough coolant at least to keep me cool this summer, likely i'll need another can eventually sooner than expected.
