I'm a plant newb, so please note that I'm sharing my view with little experience. :-) I bought a set of these in 2019 to use for starting seedlings. In the years following, I had a couple kids. Friends kept giving me plants for some crazy reason, and I just kept shoving them in a bay window (see attached pics). I have the grow lights setup on a timer, that I ended up keeping in cycle even when the greenhouse was no longer in use. Fast forward, the kids are big enough to not care about the plants any longer and I want to move them around the house. Well! These lights have been instrumental! We experience winter where I live, which means a lot of grey days. This window is East facing, yet many of the plants are still growing toward the greenhouse. Heh! I still plan on keeping some plants in the bay window, but I want to move the greenhouse out of the dining room. I bought more lights and have zip tied them to the front of the casings for the blinds. I'm pretty happy with this setup so far. The lights aren't immediately visible. AND they're tucked away and will no longer be an eyesore for my dear neighbors! I plan to setup a few more stations around the house, too! - The bay window setup is four light units (one entire package) - the cord is too short, but adding a short extension cord isn't an issue for me - I'll be using a smart outlet so I can program them to operate during the day, while everyone is out of the house

These lights are a little overrated in my opinion. They work. They hang. BUT…I didn’t realize they don’t have brightness adjustment. My bad for not reading the description better, but why not have this option on these lights. When I set them up over my plants, the light was too much and they started getting leaf burn. Anyway, my same plants are doing much better under some ordinary rechargeable cabinet lights.

Grew lots of micro greens and mini salad lettuces during the spring. Hung these over some homemade grow gardens made from 2x4 frames and black plastic mortar mixing tubs. The pink light from these is bright enough to cover a good area. Easy on/off switches and they can be linked with the included cords. Good value.

I am using these lights on a shelving unit for grow lights. PROS: 1. Each light has a switch to turn on or off SEPARATE from the other lights. The feature is there according to your needs and preferences. 2. I’m using them for AFRICAN VIOLETS and the Kelvins are perfect for them, or other indoor plants. 3. Provided with the lights were 3 WAYS to secure them….including sticky tape, zip tie. 4. The actual LUX of lights were CONSISTENT. 5. An END CORD was provided to plug ALL the lights into ONE outlet. CONS: 1. The cords provided needed to be replaced because they were too short to reach the next shelf in my new larger shelf. The only way is if the shelves are close together, but even then, ITS NOT IDEAL to be pulling on the cord to reach another light on the next shelf. 2. The sticky tape, double sided, failed and I would not use them to permanently secure the light. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THEM TO PERMANENTLY FIX THE LIGHTS!! They will fall INTO YOUR PLANTS!!! I am using the ZIP TIES TO ENSURE they won’t fall again, which did damage to a beautiful plant. 3. I had an added cost because the cords to daisy chain the lights were too short. To give you an idea, my shelves are 20” apart so can judge how it works for you according to the length of the cords. The lights themselves are EXCELLENT and do an excellent job of being grow lights, however, you CANT FORGET that the double sided tape is NOT secure, but the zip tie is. As long as you don’t mind using zip ties, and you are ok with possibly needing longer cords to connect the lights. I’d HIGHLY recommend this product because the lighting is EXCEPTIONAL for your indoor plants that don’t have a good window to put them in. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!!!
