We've been using these tests for around a year or so and haven't had one fail to absorb solution or work properly yet. Results appear to be accurate and more sensitive than tests run at the doctors' offices. They're reliable as far as we can determine. Even though they seem expensive bc we use them so much, it's often offset by avoiding the time and expense of a doctor's visit. Now, if only workplaces and schools accepted these test results as equivalent to a doctor's note we'd be set! I'd pay a slight price increase if that were possible since 99% of the time the doctors send the patients home saying rest, fluids, OTC meds and basically everything you already know; and that's if they test you and if the test is accurate. There's no point to the costly visit except to obtain a note for excusal. These tests, in my experience, have provided more accurate results and we can easily test multiple times over the period of exposure in case initial testing was too early.
