It's Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Read them, read them again, repeat until you have to buy a new set because the pages are falling out. If you liked the movie you'll love finding all the wonderful little details in the books.

Captivating from the first sentence and hysterically funny!

Read most of these years ago but never finished the full set. Retirement can be boring at times, and I needed a laugh. Now half way thru book #3. Amazing how this stuff alternately seems to stand the test of time, and yet there are funny flashbacks to the 70's. References to stuffy movie stars making American Express commercials. Telephone sanitizers. Did we ever have those here in the States? Used many a payphone back in the day that really could have used it. Anyway, the books themselves are of good quality for simple paperbacks. No First Editions here. But if you like quirky humor and endless unpronounceable names for places, planets and alien beings, this is your chance. Just don't lose your towel.

Great book series! Just wish it came with a cardboard case for the collection of books like it shows in the picture of the item. But not a deal breaker

Easy to read

If you like British humor, just read these. Yes they are zany space stories but they are much more. Only a UK mind could have written these.
