It is made up of really good quality plastic which is quite sturdy. It is travel-friendly. ----------------------------------- Color And Consistency:- ----------------------------------- It is available only in black colour and when I say black it means pure dark jet black colour. YES! The colour is very intense and deep. ------------------------- Shelf Life:- ------------------------- 2 years of shelf life ------------------------- My Experience:- ------------------------- The packaging is really good and travel-friendly. It is in a felt tip form which makes the application very easy. It is very precise due to its fine tip you can make your liner as thin as you want. Coming on the colour, as I said before it is very intense and deep black. It glides very easily you don't even have to tug or stretch your eye. Now about the claims, Yes it does give you error free lines but doesn't think that you are going to get it on the first try but with a little bit practice yes it will. It is dark and very pigmented. The application is easy with this liner. It is smudge proof to some extent. And it also dries quickly comparatively. No, It won't stay for 12 hours, It will stay for about 5 to 6 hours maximum which is fine. It does fade a little bit so not fade proof. It is also not waterproof which makes it easy to remove but not suitable for rain, weddings, and breakups ;P "Just saying" --------- Pros:- --------- Colour is very intense and deep black Glides very easily you don't even have to tug or stretch your eye. More then year now still works like new

Control that the pen and it's brush tip gives is perfect for an eye line drawing novice like me. I could draw beautiful cat eyes' line over the lid with it. The colour pay off was fantastically black, and application was very very easy. I could do it finally thanks to this! On the flipside, the eye lining pen was NOT SEALED, not sure whether the amount of moistness or dryness it has is indicative of the remaining amount of product inside it. That's an absolute bummer. Seal pack is essential. And it didn't come that way. Did I get a shop's open tester? No way to tell. Also, it's certainly NOT waterproof at all. One splash of water on face and it came off. Which is fine by me, i didn't care for it. Smudge proof bit is not 100 percent but not as bad as a kajal. So yes for a 'pen'. But will be trying other brands next time to hopefully find something better. And sealed! PS: in the images, I've applied kaajal in waterline and the marker pen above eyelid. It has a little wet consistency, but it dries pretty quickly (within 30 sec.). It sets into semi-matte finish and stays on my oily eyelids for 5-6 hours without smudging or smearing. Its 0.4mm Flexi Tip applicator is ideal for creating the thin lines and tight-lining. You can use this eye liner in your waterline too. You can create any kind of eye look using this liner and is ideal for beginners to create beautiful winged eye liner look. It comes with a Ink Pigment Technology and is smudge-proof and fade-proof. I find it a value for money product, as the quality provided for its price is pretty amazing. It can be easily removed with a mild face wash and the plain water. What I Dis-liked about Maybelline The Colossal Liner : It starts fading and smudging on my oily lids after 5-6 hours. It is not water-proof and smears easily if you splash water on your face.
