Received this tester today. This tester is a state-of-the-art tester. It tests voltage in a live wire or in AC mains wall socket, 1) But what is more important feature in this tester is, it tests the continuity of current in a wire and shows exactly where the wire is cut inside the insulation. Just slide the tester along the outside of the wire carrying current and when the exact point where the wire is disconnected , its current indication symbol goes off, showing exactly where the wire is faulty. 2) By touching the above buttons while testing for a voltage, it shows how much voltage is in the line. Though it shows an approximate voltage, say exact mains voltage is 240V , this tester shows up to 220V which gives an idea that the voltage is full in the mains. 3) This tester's another great feature is, it shows whether your earthing is working or not, by using the inductance button. Since inductance testing works on very minute current and some of its current is also used for digital display, that is why the digital display is very small. The only drawback on the company pack is, the bar code sticker was pasted right above the user manual guide and when i tried to remove it, the back side manual got torn, So i had to refer youtube videos to see how to use it.

I only played around with this but it seems to be working fine so far. I'm going to be using this on some Knob and Tube in a house that was supposedly rewired before it was sold. The 12-1000V is way too sensitive for me as it goes off within a one foot radius of an outlet or some device. I just leave it on the 48-1000V setting and it works fine. This multimeter is really awesome! Pros: 1.) Only one lead is needed to be grounded and you can go from point to point without having to move so many leads. 2.) I really like the pen style meter 3.) Very easy to work with behind dashboards and in engine compartments 4.) Very accurate 5.) Easy to read face 6.) Everything is close to the thumb Cons: I really have nothing bad to say about this meter, it's an awesome design and works really well. Overall this is a very handy and affordable meter that is truly helpful in tight places. I definitely recommend this meter!

It's a good product for the price and very good at measuring voltages. It is very useful for finding the breakpoint in wire, The size of the LCD is so small it is very difficult to read the voltages, One has to bend very much to read the voltage. Saw the voltage with great difficulty that it was reading out some voltages in a line and very fine ones. I think it would be better if the voltage reading could be visible for a few seconds on the tool even after removing it from the power socket. But it is a very great product for this price and good!

- not working accurate show all approx values - All the voltages shown in the device are approximate and not exact - The build quality was good, but the performance was very bad - The breakpoint test was not working - No buzzer sound indication - It does not check amps. You only check voltage AC and DC - On the display, it shows only these voltages 12-36-55-110-220 all the approx if you anything like 25 or 50 or 120 it does not show - The screwdriver tip works fine, and it is magnetic, it was attracted by a magnet - If you have a voltage of Beyond 220 and 230, it only shows 220 in the device. - It was not useful for me in real-time - I had uploaded some images check it, it may be helpful

This product is a great innovation but they missed couple of very important thing.... 1) LCD display is not lit and the digits are to small. While checking current if it lits like a conventional line tester then it would have been great. 2) the moment you take away from line, display goes off so if you cant put your head close to the tester for some reason, may dark or congusted space or too much of height then this is totally useless. You can't read the reading or get to know the is current in line or not... So this product will be amazing only if these features are added.
