Prestige Royale Plus Schott Glass 3 Burner Gas Stove, Manual Ignition, Black

Bought this a month ago as a replacement to my two burner stove for Rs 5.8 thousand. Chose this due to the lifetime warranty german made schott glassPros:- Looks really good.- Easy to clean- Spacious (can use three large sized vessels together)- lifetime warranty on glass (hope there isn't any hassle)Cons:- Conversion (this stove is made for an lpg cylinder. To use it with piped gas, it needs conversion of a few things. Mahanagar Gas in Mumbai charged my Rs 900 for converting all three burners and it took around and hour for the process. Works perfect after the conversion. Conversion is due to the difference in pressure of gas discharge from gas cylnder vs piped gas)- heating of glass (glass gets too hot at times when a large appliance like a cooker is kept for long time. Hope it is durale enough)All in all,it look much more expensive than it is. Surely a great buy at is price.Edit: it’s been over a year now that we have been using this and it now works flawlessly. The glass top has zero scratches and look as good as new. We do take an effort to clean it each day though. Surely recommend at this price point.

Normally gas cylinder with old gas stove used to complete in 30-31 days where new due to bigger flames exhausted in 20 days, need to use to it2) Buttons should have given in front of each stove burner since due to they are in middle difficult to operate3. Stands given are loosing the coating due to high flame, that should have been tested properly by Prestige

We have piped gas at home. The installation request itself took a while for the company to respond to. Finally, when the person came, he informed me that since all gas burners were designed for bottled LPG which released the gas at a high pressure, he would have to make modifications to the nozzles and the inner pipes to make the burner suitable for the lower pressure of the piped gas.He took over an hour to complete the installation. He did a good job and the flames were clean and adequate. Then he informed me that I needed to pay for the parts he had installed. I paid him and he left. Oddly, after a while, I received an SMS from the company that my installation was complete and charges were NIL!

I choose this product due to Prestige brand values but very disappointed. Inner metal safety ring got rusted within 3 months and got damaged in 5 months. Knob is also got loose in 6 months. High price but very poor quality. Plz don't buy it.

Value for money

The media could not be loaded. I gave a try after looking at star rating that the product has recieved. Surprisingly after receiving the product a doubt came in my mind that how a product could get such a good rating when in reality it's far inferior quality.Issues that I faced in 1 week of use the product.1. Knob is so flimsy that u can literally pull it out from the burner. No lock machenism is there.Cons2. The rotation of know is damn tight. Sometimes it feels that we will brake the knob if some more pressure is applied.3. If you try to sim the burner it goes off. It's very risky coz u might think that the burner is on but in reality it does not. Even my old tradition burner was far far good from this stupid product.4. Slight dent on the right corner and paint was also removed from there but I didn't ask for replacement from Amazon as it was bearable.5. No drip tray comes with the product.Pros1. Looks beautiful when compared to ordinary gas top burner.2. Glass is of good quality and it's thickness.Nothing exceptionally good with the product. Get the job done. I had a space crunch otherwise I would have purchased Preethi brand gas burner.
