２５歳という若さで、銃弾に倒れてしまった偉大なる２パック。その存在は、今なおリスペクトされ続けています。このアルバムは、２パックの母アフェニが２パックへの追悼をこめて製作した映画のサントラです。ただし、このアルバムはただの未発表曲集ではなく、エミネム等が２パックの原曲に自分のラップを乗せ、アレンジを加えた新たなる作品になっています。もうすでにこの世には存在し得ない２パックとエミネムや５０セントとの競演、そして生前疎遠になりディスりあっていたビギーとラップ等、夢のようなアレンジになっています。その心意気はすばらしいですが、２パックのラップのテンションとほかのラッパーのテンションが違うので、聴いていて違和感を覚えるのが難点です。ただ、５０セントとの絡みはなかなかいいです。２パックの未発表曲やコラボに興味ある方は買いですが、２パックのアルバムとしてはあまり評価できない内容かもしれません。

やはりパックは格が違った。映画のサントラということで出されているが出来が半端じゃない。特に２、６、１４曲目は圧巻の一言。エミネム、５０Centも良くやってるし、個人的には最高の一級品だと満足している。これからも伝説をつくり、多くの人達に感動を与えてほしい。
