Love the smell

UPDATE: Seller contacted and made things right. ________________________________ I'm lucky enough to have been around in the 70's and to have had the opportunity to use the patchouli oil produced in that era. It was wonderful. There were all kinds of interesting scents being imported. I had some hope for this because it's listed as perfume, which is supposed to be more concentrated than essential oils, and because I have purchased essential oils from Gya and found them to be decent quality. If you're new to patchouli, then be aware that it doesn't smell good straight out of the bottle. It's one of those things that needs to sit awhile on your skin and interact with your body chemistry. Even then, it will vary somewhat as far as intensity. This was packed well, so it gets an extra star for that. This was a tiny bottle and not concentrated at all. In fact, I applied and applied, hoping to get some level of concentration, and each time the scent faded within 2 minutes. You would literally have to have your face completely buried in my neck or wrist in order to smell anything at all, and that's only because I finally chose to mix it with another patchouli blended oil. Ideally, people shouldn't be able to smell perfume unless standing right next to you. The scent still faded unbelievably fast after being mixed. I've finally decided to go with a small local business that specializes in essential oils, to get patchouli oil. They used to make some incredible patchouli back in the 90's and, while it's incredibly expensive, I'm happy they're still around. I only give low ratings when something is completely useless and has absolutely no redeeming qualities or alternative uses at all.

Great scent

I have been using Patchouli for years, love the scent! However, this bottle of Patchouli is very weak and scent dissipates withing 10 minutes. I will be sending this back.

Ich bin ein großer Fan von Patchouli, aber es ist gar nicht so einfach, einen Roll-on zu finden, der nicht künstlich oder nach billigem Parfüm riecht. Der Patchouli Roll-on von Gya Labs hat mich jedoch auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Das macht ihn für mich so besonders: Tiefer, authentischer Duft: Wer den typischen Patchouli-Geruch liebt, wird hier nicht enttäuscht. Er ist holzig, erdig und wunderbar balsamisch. Genau die richtige Intensität, ohne den Raum zu dominieren. Sofortige Erdung: Ich nutze den Roll-on vor allem in stressigen Momenten oder zur Meditation. Einmal auf die Handgelenke oder den Nacken aufgetragen, hilft mir das Aroma sofort dabei, mich zu zentrieren und „herunterzukommen“. Hautgefühl: Die Mischung mit dem Trägeröl ist sehr gelungen. Es zieht schnell ein, pflegt die Haut an den Schläfen und hinterlässt keinen unangenehmen Fettfilm auf der Kleidung. Langanhaltend: Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Roll-ons verfliegt der Duft hier nicht nach fünf Minuten. Man nimmt die beruhigende Basisnote über eine lange Zeit dezent wahr. Fazit: Gya Labs liefert hier gewohnt hohe Qualität. Ein Muss für alle, die Patchouli zur Entspannung oder als natürlichen, erdenden Duftbegleiter suchen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Ein kleiner Tipp zur Anwendung: Patchouli entfaltet sich besonders gut durch Körperwärme. Wenn du ihn auf die Pulspunkte am Hals aufträgst, wirkt er fast wie ein natürliches, beruhigendes Parfüm, das dich den ganzen Tag über sanft begleitet.
