Compact, powerful, and fast. Love the preset feature. Used it to air up car tires so far and it was very fast and shuts off at the preset pressure. It's easy to use and the air hose is thick high quality.

This VIAIR portable air compressor is the real deal. It works very well and definitely faster than those compressors you can get at big box stores and auto parts stores. It looks to be very well made, at least as well as the other VIAIR compressors i have used. Yes, they cost a bit more, but I'd rather buy once for a tool like this. You may want to take notice that there is one little inconvenience with this compressor. It only comes with alligator clips so you must connect directly to your battery to operate. I suspect this is because the motor may draw a pretty high amperage that might blow fuses on most power orts in most cars and trucks. Overall, I highly recommend this compressor and would buy it again. I doubt that i will need to buy again for a long time though.

Went camping one weekend and ended up with a low tire on the camper. I didn't want to change the tire all the time so i wanted to buy a portable 12v air pump. Both for off roading with my truck and incase of low tires. This thing is a workhorse. It filled my camper tire from 30PSI to 64PSI under a minute. Very well made! Love the carrying case as well. Super easy to use, set the air pressure you want push the start and it will shut off automatically once the preset pressure is reached. Comes with multiple adapters for your needs as well.

This is a great pump for offloading. It's compact & light weight. The power cord & the hose are long enough to reach all tires on my jeep.

Love this pump. Well made and handles the task perfectly. Inflates quick and accuratetly to the set presure. Move to the next tire it remembers the previus setting so its ready to go. If I had to critize, it would be the location of the air hose exit. When stored the hose sticks out of the housing and sees lots of sharp angles and bends. I see this aa a potencial point of failure. Relocate it Viair for a pruduct that will last forever. Would buy again, great at its price range.

I am totally impressed with the compressor. Extremely well made but compact and light. It’s easy to use and very efficient. I have an SUV which I tried to inflate the tires with battery compressors and they both failed. With this unit there is excellent power and the 4 tires were inflated in less than 5 mins. I highly recommend this unit. Excellent compressor that you can depend on. It came with a case for easy storage.

I took this pump to re-inflate my 4WD tires on a trip where we were crossing a lot of sand. It worked OK for the first tire, inflating from around 8psi to 35psi. The pump did get warm and it’s not fast, but I expected that. When I moved to the next tire, as soon as I asked it to start pumping by pressing the middle button, the power went off. Initially I thought it may be a temperature shutoff but it was not that hot. I eventually realized it was the power supply fuse. I replaced the fuse and was able to partially inflate the tire, then the fuse went again. I tried 2 more times blowing 2 more fuses until I was out of fuses. At that point I ended up having to use a friend’s compressor. If I was alone I would have been stranded. After returning home I tried the pump again with exactly the same results, even on small bike tires. It seems to blow a fuse regularly when trying to start pumping. I have contacted the manufacturer in CA in case it’s just this pump. If they are responsive I will update this review.

I tried a few from aross the pond with no luck. I even tried to use a fancy name brand that is yellow...you know the brand. It was weak in comparison. It also required a battery even though it came with a cigar lighter cord. This thing tops off my tires in less than 5 minutes for all 4. I did get a speed chuck for it (Chuck Mates). The gauge is spot on. I purchased one that arrived used, but I gave it a try and the gauge was off by 2PSI. The replacement was factory sealed and it works perfectly. No more lugging around my pancake compressor just to top off the tires. You can buy garbage brands here all day. I needed a compressor not something that resembled a cell phone that I wished would work. Does anyone who buys a battery operated tire compressor expect it to last longer than a week? Do you expect it to store it in your car that reaches extreme temps and know it will always be fully charged when you least expect it? You will stop buying junk products when you try one of these. I think it was worth the extra $16 to get a accurate digital gauge and auto shutoff. This litterally runs less than 15 seconds per tire to top off.
