Best bang for the buck in the 1 liter category.
After a few weeks of heavy use, I really like this kettle. Finding a 1L electric kettle with all these features wasn’t easy—most are 1.5L or larger—but I wanted something compact that could heat enough water for my wife and I in the morning - 2 big mugs with maybe a bit left over. My must-haves were precise temperature control, easy adjustments, a built-in tea infuser, and a reasonable price. The Intasting 1L was the only one I found that checked all those boxes, and so far, it has exceeded my expectations. What Works Well:Integrated Infuser – The tea infuser slots neatly into the lid, making it easy to steep tea without burning yourself. It lifts out easily and due to the infuser material it is easy to rinse free the tea leaves.Glass Quality – The kettle feels like lab-grade glass—resistant to water spots, easy to clean, and seemingly durable.Precision Heating – You can set and adjust the temperature in 1°F or 1°C increments, and the kettle does a great job reaching and maintaining the exact temperature. Instead of overshooting, it gradually coasts to the target, hitting power for 2-3 second bursts until the desired temperature is achieved.User-Friendly Design – The dial makes adjustments simple, and you can silence the alert if you don’t want to hear the beep when it reaches temperature.Fast Heating – At 1200W for a 1L capacity, it heats water faster than most larger kettles (which tend to be 1500W for 1.7L).Compact & Stylish – Doesn’t take up much counter space, has a sleek look, and feels well-built.Affordable – At $63.99, it’s reasonably priced for the features.Accurate - I tested the kettle’s thermometer against my own digital thermometer. At lower temperatures (around 110°F and below), there was a slight discrepancy, but at typical brewing temperatures, it was spot-on.What Could Be Better:Power base Quirk – The kettle must be on the base to turn the power off, but the base can turn on without the kettle. If you accidentally power it on when the kettle isn't there, you have to put the kettle back before you can turn it off. It’s a minor annoyance.Overall, it’s a great little kettle that does exactly what I wanted—precise temperature control, easy steeping, and a compact footprint. Hopefully, it holds up over time, but so far, so good.

A better way to brew tea.
I used to use a traditional kettle to heat up the water, and then pour tea bags into my mug. And then wait until it steeps. Not any more. I use loose tea and this bad boy to get it done now. What took me so long to make the switch?I put 3 spoonfuls of loose tea into the "hopper". Fill up the kettle with water to the 1L line, and then place it on the base unit. Turn it on, and set the temp to 197 (for peppermint tea). The water takes about 3-4 minutes to heat up. It really is quite fast! I think this unit is using induction?.... Anyhow, once the water is hot, the tea is already steeped. I pour into my mug and go. I get about 3 standard coffee mugs worth of tea out of this. That's plenty. Also, the hopper does a great job of keeping the tea in the hopper. The tea in the mug doesn't have anything leaves floating around. This was never the case with the tea balls I used to use. Also, once the water is ready, you tap on the "keep hot" button, and the unit keeps the water at 197 for about an hour.Easy to clean. Looks nice and stylish on the counter. Base unit could be a little more sturdy - that's my only beef. Will likely get one for my Mom who drinks tea every day.

works great!
love this kettle!!! easy to work and it gets the job done, heats up very fast!!! lid comes off easy! you can add herbs or tea to the kettle in the lid if you have some loose tea that you want to make a whole kettle of or you can just use your way! The kettle has a line to indicate max water. Seems like the quality it great so far!!!

Love it
Very nice pots. Interesting and versatile. It takes awhile to figure out how to get it to work but I like the options you have to make tea and coffee. The infuser is great. I'm an herbal tea freak and it's a nice part of the mix.

Pros and Cons...
Pros:Aesthetically pleasing- I quite obviously bought the white one so it would match my toaster.House guests just LOVE it- and I'm not sure if this is just an American anomaly (given the fact that we moved here from London), but I'm constantly shocked when people walk into our kitchen and realize that something called a "tea kettle" exists. I should be a brand rep because several of my friends have purchased the same one after they left our house.Boils water fairly quickly- and there's a nice option to keep that water warm once it's done.Cons:Kind of small- our last (very ugly) kettle was a lot larger and I could easily use it to boil enough water to cook something like potatoes in a big pot, which I would transfer to the stove. Kettles bring water to a rapid boil much quicker than a gas range, and once you get it on there it saves a lot of waiting time.It does not hold a boil at 212° for more than 10 seconds- it has an auto shut off, and again as a British person who has been using a kettle their whole life, I'm used to leaving a boil for at least 30 seconds. Our previous American kettle also did this (but annoyingly, if the lid wasn't secured it would just keep on boiling until nothing was left)All in all, I'm happy with this cute little kettle that doesn't take up much room on the countertops, and we have decided to just boil pot water the old fashioned way...on the stove lol.

Tea hot water kettle
All in all it boiled a full pot in less than 3 minutes. I turned it off and let it set on the base unit to cool and didn't get back to it for 2 days. I looked at it and thought well I better empty the water out of it and when I picked the picture up the base unit was covered with water like it somehow late it was way more water than just condensation from the water cooling off in the picture. I tried contacting the manufacturer tech support but they basically told me I could send it back for a refund well hell, I knew that if that's their intention of taking care of their customer the heck with them. I sent it back for a full refund I'll spend my money somewhere else.
