Game changer if your trying to scan any shiny surface.. I was struggling to get a decent scan of a glossy carbon weave product. Used this spray and gaining accurate scan was very easy! Highly recommend if your scanning any glossy or reflective product

A lot of money for a spray can, but it goes a long way and works.

It work for it purpose, and require no cleaning afterwards. The only down side is I found it some part of it evaporate too soon, like within a hour.

So, I had ordered the 'bluescanningspray' which is meant to be the temporary spray that evaporates after a few hours. However I received the AB-P version which is a semi-permanent scanning spray which does not evaporate and needs to be washed or wiped off. However the results are surprisingly good and show a huge improvement over those without the spray. Its a shame however that I now need to complete a session of clean up after the scanning. Also being semi-permanent and not self evaporating there will be a number of items I will not attempt to use it on due to fear of damage due to the clean up needed after.

3D scanning spray is a must for anyone that owns a 3D scanner. This spray is stored in a 400ml can, so it should last a long time for general and light use. It includes a spare directional nozzle attached to the cap that gives more of a controlled spray that also helps in hard-to-reach areas. I have multiple issues when trying to scan reflective items, especially metallic and transparent ones. This spray is easy to use and it has excellent coverage. The spray is consistent and accurate, best applied in very thin layers at a time. The can is pressurised, so it does spray quickly. No cleaning is necessary! The spray evaporates within four hours, so you don't need to worry about cleaning your object afterward. It does not contain any pigments and is non-toxic, so it's safe to use on delicate equipment or in sensitive areas like labs. Overall, easy to use, shake well before each use, consistent application, scanner works well to recognise the surface, does not reflect much light at all once sprayed evenly, may take some time to perfect your spraying technique as you do not want the paint running or adding too much thickness to your scans. Well packed and arrived quickly Easy to follow instructions easy application thought it was expensive for what it was but changed my mind after using it and seeing the results (you use very little anyways) i thought my Revopoint MIRACO was the pinacol of scanning for my needs, but did find i needed to touch up scans, not much but there was always some blemishes. After using this stuff on a particularly tricky scan, i can honestly say i will be now using it on every scan! just apply a thin layer and your scanner will pick up every detail and texture with no problem at all. once you have finished just dust it off honestly changed my scanning game from blemished scans to absolutely fantastic scans overnight. try it, you wont be disappointed
