The book itself is a good one, just came with slightly broken spine

Lots of the materials needed are easy to get hold of in a weekly shop. My 7y/o son was really excited to read through and select the first experiments. Will update review after we’ve actually done some!

Christmas present

A great book. Ordered for a birthday gift and made up our own 'lab kit' to add to it. My daughter loved it so much, she made me odrer one for her too! So much fun. And very accessible recourses needed to complete the experiments!

Had previously purchased this book but needed another as grandchildren love it. Pitched at age 5+ for children who like to explore and make. Just need the "Blue Peter" box with the sticky tapes etc.

Big bulky book, which I'm sure I could have all the experiments online. Still nice to have on the shelf. Some of the experiments possibly a little long einded/material heavy, which you might not have to hand..
