First crossbow
Easy to assemble. Scope is lackluster but you will hit the target with it right out of the box. Crank works well, the switch to disengage the crank is difficult to get to and move sometimes.

Limb damage
This is the SECOND crossbow I've purchased since this past October and the same thing is happened again. The limbs are starting to come apart. Definitely something in the manufacturing process causing it. Unfortunately will not be using this one or buying ANY BARNETT item again as I am now stuck with this dangerous POS

My Son bought this bow also.
Injured my back years ago and had to give up bow hunting. Talked with my son and decided to purchase this one also, but with the hand crank. Hand crank works well, just need to get it sighted in. It has great speed, and was easy to assemble. Like the fact that the stock is adjustable too. UPDATE: 9/21/2024 I was sighting my crossbow in today. Finally got it sighted in to the 20yd mark. I was getting ready to shoot my 11th or 12th bolt out of it since I purchased it and just as I finished cocking it, I heard a Crack and the limb broke on me. Now I guess I get to see how well customer service and the warranty work. Will update again, when I see if Barnett stands by their product.

They Was a very good ,light, compact bow till they both snapped limbs
I purchased my bow in early December . The 3dot scope is wasn't a fan of. I changed scopes and hunted all season with it. I went out this morning to try n fill my last tag. I sat in my blind and cranked it pulling string. Loaded my arrow. Set it on my shoot stick n about 10seconds later I heard a loud CRACK! The right side limbs snapped. Hoping customer service is good. 2Nd bow ordered n exact same thing by 7th shot! Sighting in

Good value, bad scope
Overall, this is a solid value for the price but I found the scope to be unusable in low light. I sighted the bow in bright daylight, but later, when actually hunting in low light conditions found the scope useless. Thankfully, I have an old Horton crossbow from which I swapped the scope. I now have a reliable combination.

Bad scope
Bow for now ok ,but the scope is a three dot peice of junk .not user friendly to zero in so I replaced it with a better one .

Product and customer service is CRAP!
I purchased the Barnett Expedition 385 September 16th 2024. I have shot the crossbow 20-30 times at home to pick my best arrows/ sight in the scope. I brought my crossbow on a deer hunt the week of October 28th. While sitting in the deer blind, I noticed that a shard of fiberglass about .25"×5" on the front side of the upper right arm had become detached. This ended my hunt. All the time, effort, and expenses- wasted. When I got home, I emailed Barnett only to find that the email address they provided is non existent. I tried calling, but they have a recording saying that their phone lines are down. I found another email address on their website that was actually real, but no response. This company is CRAP. they may have been decent at one time, but I guess they're all on Fentynal or something these days.
