I bought a 19" deep rack so I didn't have any issues. **Q: Can i use rack roof with this unit as additional fan? does this power dual rack roof? what are the other extension fans possible with this unit?** A: Under the AC Infinity family, you need a controller to operate fans. This unit will not power your roof rack, you would better off replacing your roof rack fans with AC infinity style fans (I did this with my component rack mount cabinet). You could, electronically, figure out how to make AC Infinity products communicate with other brands but I haven’t had the time to figure that out.
