I used these to decorate cupcakes for a bon voyage party for a friend who is going to Egypt for 5 weeks. She loved them and took them to put up in her accommodations for the trip. They came in a tube that would have stored them easily if I was going to use them again for teaching or toys. Very well made and detailed. I would buy these again if I should need them.

Pieces were small and somewhat difficult to display for child's project.

I bought this set as I was building a model kit of the classic Boris Karloff version of The Mummy, and wanted a few knick-knacks to dress up the base. These small Egyptian-themed figures and statues fit the bill, the tallest ones standing about 2 1/2 inches tall. They are molded in soft tan plastic, painted in black, pale yellow, orange and various shades of blue. You get the Sphinx, the pyramids, busts of King Tut and Nefertiti, a cat, falcon, figures of Anibus, Horus, and various others, 12 in all. Because of the small size, I probably would not recommend them for small children due to the possible choking hazard, but beyond that, a nice set that would make a great educational toy, or useful for all manner of hobbies.

Well, the Cool Earth top that was shown spinning in the video is not there. It looks like the wrong toob was used because it doesn't have the gold rope as well. The holes are there but no rope. Some of the other cheaper toobs have the orange top. The little globe was a part of the cool part of this toob. I haven't given it to my grandson yet and I am sure he will like what is inside but it is not as advertised. Will give a better description of what's inside such as durability later.

My daughter is currently in her ancient Egypt phase thanks to Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles, and we've been doing some Egypt-based projects based on ancient Egyptian mythology which is a central feature in the Kane Chronicles. This Egypt Toob was a pleasant surprise due to the above average quality of the figurines. They are definitely not recommended for children under 5 as some of them are small and can pose a choking hazard, but older children (6-11) will have fun with these. The plastic tube has a globe at the top which also serves as a way to lock the tube (to prevent the figurines from falling out). The toob comes with a string that makes it convenient to be carried along. The figurines comprise: Queen Nefertiti, Cat Goddess Bastet, King Tutankhamun, Goddess Isis, an amulet, a sarcophagus, scarab, a miniature pyramid, the Sphinx, Thoth, Anubis, and a hieroglyph. The quality is really quite good considering the price. My daughter is using them as display materials alongside her collection of Egyptian mythology books and of course, The Kane Chronicles. Any child who loves learning about ancient Eqypt will love this.

Purchased as a gift. Great gift for an adult or older child who likes history!

These figures are brilliant and I absolutely love them! I home school my daughter and we are about to start a 3 month project on Ancient Egypt and these items will certainly help to bring it to life. They are a good size for a child's hand to hold, are brightly coloured and cover a wide range from pyramids to a sphinx to Nefertiti. The items that I received were: Nefertiti Scarab Beetle with what looks like the Rosetta stone on the reverse side Sphinx The god THOTH The god ANUBIS Bastet The god ISIS A mummy case Amulet of Anubis Tutankhamen 3 pyramids in a row Hieroglyph of RE Each figure/item has its name printed on the underside. The tube that they come in has a spinning globe at the very top of it and the lid also clicks shut again so that nothing can fall out. I think this is brilliant value for money and it will be used again and again over the years in my house.

Una confezione semplice ma carina. I pezzi sono molti e di materiale abbastanza buono. Non eccessivamente piccoli. Circa 5cm. Li ho usati per decorare una finta torta a tema egizio. La descrizione è molto accurata sia come misure che come aspetto quindi leggete bene secondo cosa cercate. Carini per fare giocare i bambini. Quindi secondo quello che cercate secondo me sono un buon acquisto.

très jolies figurines : matière un peu souple, stables, jolies couleurs et finitions. Juste un petit bémol ..le prix.
