I was staying with my parents for a couple days and they were having slow drain issues with the old pipes in their house. They're on septic so I was concerned about not putting harsh chemicals into the septic field. Someone had recommended this product to me. The longer you leave the product in the better so I poured some in right before going to bed and by morning all the issues were completely resolved. I bought them more and treated all their pipes then I bought some for my house and treated all my pipes. WAY better than anything else I have EVER used.

The kitchen sink was gurgling, and rotorootering the drain did not help. Put this in, waited an hour, and it did the trick!

I picked up Green Gobbler Enzyme Drain Cleaner because our kitchen sink was starting to smell a little funky and draining slower than normal. I didn’t want anything super harsh, so I liked that this uses enzymes instead of strong chemicals. It was really easy to use, just pour it in and let it do its thing. After a couple uses, the bad odor was basically gone and the drain definitely seemed to run smoother. It didn’t completely fix a heavy clog, but for grease buildup and smells, it worked better than I expected. I’m giving it 4 stars because it takes some patience and works best with regular use, not as an instant miracle fix. Overall, it’s a solid product for maintenance and keeping drains fresh, and I’d buy it again.

My issue was my 1930s kitchen sink..slow draining then totally stopped draining. Didn't want to call the plumber and had just had my main sewer lines scoped and all clear - I knew my issue was just right at the kitchen drain past the p trap. Years of oily sludge. So I drained the pipes of any water and in the morning I poured the entire jug down the drain. At the end of the day I boiled some water and poured it down. Still plugged! I have a double basin sink so I plugged up one side and plunged like heck about 20 or 30 times and then..glug glug glug..it drained like it hasn’t it a long time. Ran extra hot water for 5-10minutes straight and we are working like new! I agree with the smells too..when I took the drain apart I gagged and now after using this, it just seems like this old kitchen is smelling new.

This was a stubborn clog in the kitchen sink. I used an extra long plunger to try to clear the drain. I could hear the water moving in the drain but it would not clear. After dumping 2 gallons of a similar product it still was not going away. So, there i was plunging my little heart out. I left and came back an hour later and the sink was clear. I turned on the water and sure enough, it stopped up again. I did that all day. It stunk up my whole apartment. It wasn't until the drain cleared enough to pour down a whole gallon and leave it overnight. Next morning the odor was gone and the drain clear. It made me think that this problem has been going on for awhile. I just did not notice because it did drain, just slowly. now, I am on a mission to use this at least once a month to sit in the pipes to let the enzymes work.

The Green Gobbler Enzyme Drain Cleaner really works! I like to pour it down the drains at night and let it sit. In the morning, I just run hot water through, and the drain is clean with no smell at all. It breaks down clogs and gets rid of odors better than anything else I’ve tried. Highly recommend for routine drain maintenance!

Bought this because I had 2 bathroom sinks where the overflow drains were partially clogged. Water would drain, but slowly and we would get a very nasty odor from them every time you drained the sink. The solution smells very nice, but I can't say it's working for my situation. I've been pouring some in every night before bed and running water through in the morning, but there is still debris in there along with the awful smell. This stuff probably works best on 100% clogs, where it can pool and do it's job.

I wish I could give this 20 stars, it is worth it. I had a kitchen clog that had stayed despite every cleaner I had used. I bought this as a last resort before a plumber. I totally used the entire bottle and let it sit overnight. The next morning I ran very hot tap water into the sink, grabbed a plunger and very carefully began plunging. In less than ten minutes the drain was clear. To my total joy, there have been no more problems with this drain. After having fought with this drain issue for more than 4 months, I cannot praise this product highly enough.
