Purchased to give a favourite work chair a new lease of life. Fitted this which lifts a bit higher than previous. Very sturdy and no sinking. Good value for money and saved buying a new chair.

Worked well as a replacement for mine as it was sinking. Very easily to install and actually has more height range than my original cylinder.

Needed a replacement as my office chair was sinking after being sat on it for 10 mins, this is an excellent cylinder, goes up very high which is useful for someone of my height, im very happy and hope it lasts, it fit perfectly seems sturdy and is just as comfortable as my old cyclinder on this chair

First of all, this is a great product and really strong. I bought it for my old DX Racer King chair and it incredibly strong, and more than capable of holding my 22 Stone self without issue. However, and this is probably my fault but I've never bought a gas strut before, it doesn't sit in the base as far down as the original and it is much bigger. Because of this minimum height I can barely get my legs under my desk, and at maximum height I can't touch the floor. It makes my chair like a bar stool. And at 6 foot 1 inch, I'm not exactly short. Good and strong though and great value.

This worked perfectly to fix an office chair that didn’t go up and down anymore. Bit of a pain to get the old one out (YouTube is your friend here!) but this one quickly fitted into place and saved the cost of a new chair

Good quality and easy to fit once you've extracted your old gas strut. The adjustment is great, the extra height from this model makes all the difference to my posture at my desk. Very pleased with my purchase.

My office chair had sunk so low it was almost unusable. Instead of replacing the whole chair I fitted this gas lift and it’s made a huge difference. The chair now feels solid, adjusts smoothly, and sits at the right height again. Installation was straightforward and the quality feels very sturdy. For the price, it’s an excellent way to give a chair a new lease of life without having to buy a new one.
