Great little knife
This knife surprised me! This knife came with zero blade play out of the box which blew me away. The locking mechanism works flawlessly. I have $100 civivi knives that have a lot of blade play out of the box so opening a $35 dollar knife to find quality made me very happy. The blade shape is perfect and holds an edge well. Great value for your money! I plan on buying more cjrb products now.

Terrific knife!
This knife ROCKS! It is light weight but the FRN scales are extremely sturdy; no play in the blade when open. It fits the hand very well and the finish is smooth but it has indents in the sides so it holds well in your hand. It comes razor sharp right out of the box; and the blade shape allows for very precise cuts. Thumb stubs make opening this snappy little knife very easy. Button lock is very good. Overall this is an awesome knife. I highly recommend picking one up, you won't regret it.

No brainer...
I don't know if I'm still in the honeymoon phase but this knife is flawless. It's like a Bugout with better action, blade geometry, blade shape, and a better design. Due to the forward finger choil, the ergonomics make it more accessible for people with large hands. It's got nested liners so it's stronger without being too heavy. I didn't mind the Bugout handle flex but after handling this knife I realized that u could get better strength and a higher quality feel without taking away that lightweight appeal that made the Bugout so popular. For a button lock, this thing feels rock solid. This knife was in my Wishlist for waaaaay too long. It shoulda went straight to cart. Do yourself a favor. Don't be a me. Just buy it🤙🗡️

Great knife for the price. Looks sharp (pun intended).
I’m not a pocket knife nerd. I was just looking for a good quality everyday carry knife I could carry in my pocket while fishing here in coastal North Carolina. It’s light, sharp, and is easy to use. The button lock system is great. Easy to open and close with either the button or thumb stud. Looks great too and the handle is easy to grip without fear of sliding out of your hand. The price was half of other comparable knives. 👍

Feels good.
This is my first purchase from CJRB, I've got knives from other brands like Kansept, Kizer, Schrade, yada yada and so on. This is my first button lock in regards to a regular knife, I've got utility knives that are button locks. Right off the gate I will say that I wish the button stuck out a bit more, I sometimes have to use my thumbnail to push it. The other thing I did not enjoy was that while it has thumb studs, the only way to open it is by using the button lock itself, not a deal breaker but I wish I could open it with the thumb studs too by a flick. It didn't come as sharp as I expected or wanted it to be. I had to work it a little bit to get it to be as sharp as I wanted. I have less expensive knives that have come shaving sharp right out of the package. Its lightweight and fits well in the pocket, the blade itself feels a little on the thinner side which is fine because this isn't a knife you're going to use for heavy duty use like battoning or chopping up wood. The clip holds well in your pocket and doesn't let go easily which is good for outdoors use. The handle material isn't as grippy as I'd want it to be, but it does feel good and strong. We'll see how long it lasts with regular use. All in all, this is a good knife at the price point it is at right now ($30~). You could do better, but you could also do a hell of a lot worse. Overall, it's a good knife to get if you're starting to build an EDC kit or if you need a good, inexpensive knife for daily use. ***Update: The knife will open without using the button lock and using the thumb studs. It was just that the detent was too strong, some fiddling around and it works great now.

Wow!.. Just Wow!....
Wowsa!. This inexpensive, high quality EDC, covers all the Itches for sure. This Pyrite Light is smoking good. The blade was centered and it is hairpopping sharp,The detent is perfect and it feels good in the hand with no hot spots. the FRN scales are nicer than Spydercos. This knife carries well and feels strong but is light like the Bugout. I stropped this knife to Scalpel sharp in 2 minuets and just ordered a CIVIVI Ti pocket clip #T003D for an upgrade. I had a extra one that I test fit and its perfect, screws and all!. These are a smokin deal. I wish I bought one when they first were released instead of waiting. Just get one and Smile More!.

A great value and durable
Purchased as a gift for my son, who identified it as "stormtrooper" colors. Well-made, easy opening and reliable. Lightweight also. A good all-around knife. He likes it because it doesn't pull down his sweat pants or shorts when he's being athletic.
