AECOJOY Outdoor 6x8 Metal Shed – Honest Review
The shed itself is solid once built, but getting there took some work. First off, removing the protective plastic film from each metal panel was a real pain—it took me a couple of hours. Definitely wear gloves, as the metal sheeting is very thin and the edges are sharp.Packaging was good, no missing parts and everything arrived intact. A few of the panels had bent corners, but they were easy to straighten out by hand or with some light pressure. The instructions weren’t the clearest, but I was able to follow along well enough. It took me over 6 hours total, spread over two days to fully assemble it. Not terrible, but plan for a weekend project if you’re doing it solo or without much help. After assembly, I added spray foam around the base to seal up the open gaps and help keep bugs out. It made a big difference in sealing things up.The shed looks great, and the storage space is just what I needed. I have a 6ft privacy fence, so it sits nicely in the backyard without standing out too much. One thing to note—the shed is very lightweight, so if you’re placing it on concrete like I did, make sure to anchor it down. Otherwise, a strong wind could shift or move it.Overall, not the most fun to set up, especially with the plastic removal, but once it’s done, it’s a great-looking and functional shed.

Worth what I paid.
Good size shed but for me the instructions were a little hard to follow. Had to guess a-lot and things didn’t line up perfectly. I also recommend handling with care. The metal bends easily. With all this said it was worth what I paid.

Good value
The only complaint I have with this is that the instructions were difficult to follow. As a carpenter i put things together for a living, and I found it somewhat difficult. Nonetheless, it only took two days to assemble. Each sheet is protected with clear plastic wrap also, we decided to just leave it on. Other than that, there’s plenty of room for what we use it for, it’s fairly sturdy, and it keeps things dry. Not bad at all for the price.

Great little shed
It took 3 days to put it together by myself. All holes were pre-made, and anytime something didn’t line up properly.. i knew to take a step back. It takes a while to study the clear instructions - but all and all it was a great job to finish. I recommend the sturdy finished result.

Very cheap storage building that would work under a shelter .
Directions are very difficult. Pay attention to the pictures. If you don't you will be taking it apart 2 or 3 times until you get it right . Especially the floor track . If you don't postion them correctly the holes will not line up at all for the walls . Also leaks like crazy . The washers are very cheap . If you look really close at them they are diffrent on each side . I would imaging it is for the screws to seal correctly but they still do not . I tried the washes both ways . Still leaks . Also the screws do not tighten up at all . I had to use spray foam , silicone and brush rubber roofing coating to stop the leaks . It took me 3 full days to assemble it . It also took for 2 days to get most of the leaks stopped . Spend your money for a good one at you local hardware

Sturdy and useful
I bought this because our house has little storage and I did not want to crowd up my garage. It is sturdy but definitely requires 2 people to put up. Some parts were a little confusing to put together and it can get quite frustrating even with the instructions. Also be very careful, the edges can be sharp and I did cut my hand on one of the pieces. The box does come with gloves but I needed to take it off to work on one section and that's when I got cut. Once put up however it provided the perfect amount of coverage. On hot days, the inside does not become an oven which is very much a positive. Overall I am very please with our shed.

This Shed Exceeded My Expectations!
I was looking for a larger lean-to shed to be placed on the South side of my house and selected this one… so glad that I did! Yes, putting a shed together is a pain in the 🤬, but it was worth it for this one! With the help of my dad and brother, we assembled the walls/door on day 1 and I installed the roof by myself on day 2.There were reviews complaining about the instructions being unclear, but we were able to decipher them without a problem. The screw/nut holes (for the most part) did align with the exception of the front and back roofing edge pieces. I just simply drilled a pilot hole thru the holes of the top pieces where they join. There were also a few holes on some of the roof panels where nothing attached to them, so I just placed a plastic washer with screw in these locations. As for stability… once completely assembled, it is extremely sturdy and the door aligns well (we did need to slightly bend the door molding piece in a little for the door to shut). We built a 6’ X 8’ wooden base made of 2x4s and attached it to 2 - 4x4 skids, then used 3/4” plywood for the floor. The base is solid and level and it was easy to secure the shed to it using deck screws. One thing to note is that the shed is a little longer than 8’. We solved this by simply adding another 2x4 on the back of the base. I added a pic of the wooden base to give others ideas. The hardware was sufficient and they do give you plenty of extra screws, nuts, bolts, and washers. So, if you drop some and can’t find them, don’t freak out! lol My only complaint is that it would have been nice had the shed come with a door handle. I plan on adding one to it at a later date. The latch works well and a padlock can be added for extra security.Overall, I’m quite pleased with the ease of construction, condition of materials, stability of the structure, and the shed looks beautiful!

You get what you pay for...
It's flimsy up until it's 100% put together. The holes align; although, it's easy to get a piece turned around and think the holes don't line up. The lock is terrible quality, and I cannot store anything of high value in here. You need a level base to attach this to. It looks fine, but there were dents in mine, and it also dents easily. Functions for me, but wouldn't purchase again. The included hardware is not great.
