Good quality and effective. When I started with it, one capsule was a bit too strong for my sensitive alimentary canal, so I divided the capsule in half into an empty capsule, at least for beginning this protocol again, and take it with food. I've taken caprylic acid before and found it to be burning in my stomach, and this acted the same, so I want to be careful. Editing my review after taking it for a while, I can take two capsules a day now. I can say now that it has greatly helped calm my intestines. Along with a low-sugar low-carb diet, the carprylic acid has greatly decreased gas colic and gas toxicity, from what I have assumed to be an infestation of sugar-eating yeast and bacteria. I will continue taking it, because it seems to be curing my suspected SIBO and IBS. My husband recently decided to try it, and seems to be obtaining relief from a long-standing sinus problem that he now suspects might be thrush caused by diabetic high-sugar in his system.

I noticed another reviewer called this caprylic acid a game changer. I've used all sorts of antimicrobials and antifungals over the years. This is probably the most effective product I've used to kill off yeast/bad bacteria. The reason I think it is so effective, is because of the slow release formula. Because it is slow release, this means that the caprylic acid will reach your large intestine. It is well documented that increasing your large intestine PH helps lower bad bacteria, lower ammonia, etc. Normally, if you are healthy your large intestine will have plenty of good bacteria to keep this PH low. However if you're like me, and have had tons and tons of antibiotics for years (even as a kid) your gut will be a mess. Once these capsules hit my large intestine, wow, I knew it. I could feel my large intestine actually doing something for once. My skin looks better. I'm more clear headed, more energy. All of the benefits of lowering your fungal and bad bacteria load. Don't overlook this one, the slow release which allows the caprylic acid to work in your large intestine really is a game changer.

I am using this product while also taking generic diflucan. It is a good supplementary way to get rid of yeast. I have had a yeast problem for years. Caprylic acid is helping along with my antifungal medication. My skin it's clearing up, not as itchy, and doesn't have red or white scaly patches. My craving for sugar has gone down. Taking caprylic acid may make you extremely tired, nauseous, and headachy, as I have been, or other reactions. It only means that the yeast is dying off. I read that caprylic acid breaks the membrane of the yeast. I am optimistic while taking this and hope to have my infection gone in a few weeks. Good luck with this. I think it's worth it.

I pair this with the alpha lipoic acid. Routine use helps keep candida under control. I tend to have an imbalance during my luteal phase and these work wonders! I'd definitely suggest altering your diet too, to meet YOUR specific needs if you have candida issues. I need red meat in my diet periodically to help balance my gut but I don't consume red meat so this is a great alternative for me. It also helps with digestion. I keep a bottle in my home.

I purchased this item to try and help combat what appears to be a severe systemic candida overgrowth thanks to a long round of some nasty antibiotics. I have been experiencing for the past 8 months, the worst itchy scalp I've ever had in my life complete with handfuls of hair loss, severe skin symptoms, with sloughing of skin and cracking/bleeding on hands and feet, brain fog, inability to lose baby weight (something I have never struggled with before), insomnia, and constant GI issues. Have never had any of these issues before the round of levaquin and my doctors have been less than helpful. So i felt I should try some treatment on my own. I am pregnant so having to be careful with severe diet restrictions/detox, but I was given go ahead to use these and I will say that combined with a probiotic I think they're actually making a difference. I noticed an almost immediate worsening of my symptoms which I assume is the yeast die off everyone talks about. I have occasional bad days still, but when I'm careful with my diet and taking these pills the scalp itching is definitely less prevalent and while my hands are still very dry and scaly, I haven't had an episode of the cracking and bleeding since I started taking this supplement. I'm really hoping this means that it's working. I will continue to take the supplement and probably order another bottle soon and will try and update.

A must if you’re fighting candida. It’s is very strong. Start slow because of die off symptoms. I use this along with the candida diet and it’s helped tremendously. There’s no point in getting this if you’re not going to follow the diet as well. I also got glutathione, milk thistle, vitamin b, turmeric, magnesium, greapfruit seed extract and fish oil so that’s probably another reason I’m having so many die off symptoms but this is the last thing I added to my regimen along with garlic cloves and after a week of this it’s clear that it’s working. I also exercise to get rid of the toxins from die off.
