I’m pleasantly surprised how bright these actually are. They don’t light up a dark room as brightly as a good lamp does. But very close. It goes about 6 feet in brightness before it gets lost in the shadows. So two is just perfect to light up one room enough to move about. You can read in the lights. I recommend both on to do so as not to strain eyes. But you could read with one if you had to. Lightweight, good value, haven’t tested battery life

These are great and are really bright! I got them to use while I am working in the attic. It is very dark up there and I have only one light. I hang these around in a circle and they really light up the whole area. They will also be great for those stormy days when we lose power. I would recommend them to you. Great value.

Tiny but not the light. Gives off as much as the ones I had that were a bit larger than these.

Very small - but very bright. When I saw how small the package was that had 2 of these, I was like, "OH no, not some cheapo item!" Yes, they are small. They fit on your palm. But they DO provide very bright light. I was impressed at how bright they were in the dark. They take 3 AAA batteries. We use them as flashlights around the house now. Our older flashlights take the old D batteries, and those aren't cheap. So, the good: very bright and very small and portable (and only $5 each) - the bad: the small size is odd - I also WOULD NOT take these for camping (not bright enough for that, though the portable size for camping is good), as they are marketed as Camping Lanterns.Overall, the brightness wins me over. We will keep them as household flashlights, though.

All I can say is WOW!!! These lanterns put out a great amount of light.Two comes in the package but as you can see we only needed one for the porch. These lanterns would definitely be good while going camping or even during a power outage. And it’s so easy to use. I am happy with my purchase because to be so small, it’s definitely an excellent quality purchase. Thank you Amazon! You did it again!

I was pissed when these arrived & saw how tiny they were, especially because they arrived right before the camping trip i needed them for. I was pleasantly surprised when I used them! Don't let the small size fool you! They were bright enough, when beside us, to play card at night. They also priced plenty of light when we hung one in our tent

These were smaller than I expected but still get the job done. These are bright so you don’t really need them much bigger - size doesn’t matter in this case. These are bright four pack for the price was a good deal - more rooms/places to use them!
