I bought this set for my Son as a Christmas gift. The reviews I read about it were mixed but leaned toward good for the value. My son uses this set weekly for all kinds of projects and he loves it. Good quality glass and just well made overall

All in all, I am producing oils and I’m happy with it. I don’t understand what all of the reviews about not enough heat is, but I’m getting enough heat for sure. I just really wished it would have came with a stand to hold the hot plate up and a bucket as you can see I had to use my own set up other than that, though it does work very well. It could use a pump as well to circulate the water in the pot, I’m gonna have to buy my own, but other than that, I am producing oils

Great basic starter kit. Didnt open and set up until a month after receiving and I received the European 19/26 joints instead of the listed American sized so it doesnt fit with any of my other setup, but thats partially on me.

The quality of the glass and materials is good. However, the kit is not usable out of the box as advertised. The heating plate must be raised in order to heat the beaker, requiring an additional stand that is not included. The silicon tube is also quite short, you will need an additional one before you can start distilling anything. With the extra time and cost to get this kit to be usable, you're better off buying an actual complete kit or buying just the parts you need and putting it together yourself.

I don't recommend this set I just got mine and the condenser is leaky the glass was put together terribly and the condenser is the most important part but this seems aren't met properly
