Was after some affordable but decent kitchen knives to pack in my camping kit, and leave there for that purpose, to avoid raiding the kitchen knives every time we go camping, and these definitely fit the bill! They’re definitely good enough for everyday use in the home kitchen! Great selection of blades, all razor sharp, all ergonomically perfect for handling with the easy grip handles, and all with a very sturdy sheath to pack them away safely. There were cheaper alternatives available, but for the extra couple of quid, I’m so pleased I chose these ones.

I bought these for camping as the plastic sheath makes them ideal for safe storage. Pros They look good, have good grips and are very sharp straight out of the package. Weight is good and they are better than some far more expensive knife brands that I’ve previously owned. Plastic sheaths are strong and effective, but care must be taken when placing the blade in them as a slip is going to hurt! Cons These aren’t stainless steel - they stain after being washed. First (and every) time in the dishwasher, and they have light rust stain smudges on them. I’ve had two sets and it affects both, so this isn’t a one off. The stains do wipe off easily, but it may indicate that they lack a long term robustness.

These are lovely and sharp. They have many uses and I enjoy the additional safety feature of the covers which fit nice and snug so they don't fall off. Easy to clean and a nice balanced weight. I had seen in a previous review to hand wash and dry soon after washing to preserve the sharpness, which I have done. I haven't seen any dulling as of yet but unsure if they would withstand a dishwasher as I haven't tried. Fit well in the hand and easy to use. Also, a bargain!

I love this brand so knew I’d buy more when i needed to. They keep sharp amazingly…over 12 years of use and i’ve never needed to sharpen them! Beware though, after using these you won’t be able to stand using other people’s bog-standard /blunt knives. The reason i had to get more was because my sister snapped the plastic handle off one trying to cut a chocolate mosaic bar straight from the fridge…so i think it could’ve lasted a bit longer. The covers were a bit too snug the first time i put them on, but after a few times they fit well.

Very good price , razor sharp and are keeping their edge. Will never put them in the dishwasher though as eventually even dishwasher proof knives pit and corrode. Just give them a little run through the sharpener after every use and a nice touch the sheaths are a brilliant idea, they protect the edge and also stop you cutting yourself when fishing about in the drawer for them. Great product.

I’ve been using very blunt knives at home for years for fear of blood/cutting myself. However, it was such hard work to prepare Christmas dinner this year that I decided it was time to get some better knives. Having used blunt ones for so long, I expected to be blown away by these, but they’re just ok. Much better than what I’ve been using obviously, but they didn’t make the short work I was hoping for with potatoes, parsnips and carrots on New Year’s Day.
