I saw some reviews on this and it looked decent. When you actually get it, unbox it and set it up, it's a whole other story. This thing SCOOTS. I live in Florida and it's raining like hell here. I figured, what better way to really test bashing this thing. It checked all boxes. It has 2 speeds, 70%, and 100% and both are decent. The 70% surprisingly would be great for a beginner. 100% is LFG mode. It came with THREE sets of tires, an extra ESC fan, and tools. The remote is super generic and you can feel it when you first hold it. But it's responsive and has throttle and steering trim controls plus the two speed settings. It has cop lights on the front, blinkers that work when you turn the wheel, and brake lights when you hit reverse. For the money I paid, this thing is an absolute blast. I might pick up another one for my wife so we can just goof off. I'd recommend getting an extra battery or two. I have a Tenergy charger and it's Dean's Connectors so its universal for universal better charges. They do include a charger but it's a cheap Chinese USB one. I *believe* there is a plug on the battery for balancing. I'm going to run it to 0 on the first go as they sent it and charge it to 80% to keep it maintained. For the money, this is a fun little toy. My cat instantly hates it which tells me it's good. I have a 1:32 and she doesn't even flinch when I rip that around her. Worth the money, it's fast as hell for a 1:14 and I've read you can mod these with better batteries and a motor to make it pretty much uncontrollable. That's me, I want uncontrollable! Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up. Great for beginners or experts (I race) and it's such a fun time. I was giggling like a little school kid. I'm rating this for age purposes as a 10 year old but that's if it's at the 70% setting. I'm sure they can handle it but for the sake of a review, that's what I'm saying. 10 years of age at 70% and 13+ full throttle. LFG!

I Love These Little HyperGo RC Vehicles. This is my 5th one. I Really Like how Upgraded Parts are Available. Surprisingly Pretty Dang Fast. An Amazing Price for This Rad Truck.

First hyper-go purchase and it is loads of fun. Great build quality. Fast as heck and handles great on road. Limited off road drivingnjust yet. But the short time it kept good speed and handling. Upgraded the shock towers, shocks, front and rear arms to metal. Added minimal weight but feels very stable. There is some weight to the car. Feels sturdy definitely not a flimsy build. It is a load of fun to drive. Almost as fun as the truck from the same company. 3s is my recommendation for battery. Adds the right amount of pick up. Great speed, great handling, great build and for the price a no brainer Not for bashing. Not for a super young kid with a tendency to bash rc. Lol.

I got this after recommending it to a friend and I was supposed to order one also but I waited. He finally received his and I was honestly blown away. We tried it out at a local asphalt track and it was A BLAST. Many racers there that night commented on how quick it was. It was enough to make me finally order one. I ordered June 05 and received it today June 13th from China! Packaging is basic full color box, Car is held in to a cardboard frame with zipties. There is a second smaller box that contains the radio, tools, charger, rally block tires and wheels and drift tires and wheels. There is a spare 30x30mm fan included but not sure what its for as the installed fan is bigger and there doesnt seem to be a way to mount it to the ESC. Body: Body is polycarbonate but instead of being painted it seems like the design is printed to the polycarbonate and then molded as there are slight errors in alignment on the bumper but the rest of the body is excellent. It's modeled after the Martini Lancia Delta Integrale but obviously no licensing here just similarities in livery. The windows are clear. Body mount holes are perfectly aligned, body clips have pull tabs so they are easy to remove but don't detract from the looks. Body also has light buckets with LEDs! the headlights and tailight light up when connected to the 3rd channel on included receiver. When turning, the blinkers light up on either side. There are also reverse lights! Included are decals with additional lighting details. Chassis: Chassis is what appears to be plate aluminum with a slight kick in the nose. It looks to be painted or anodized with a textured finish. The chassis hardware unfortunately is Phillips type flathead screws. Not a deal breaker. They sit flush against the countersunk chassis holes. I was missing one screw on the battery tray. Not a problem as I replaced with an M3 flathead which unfortunately has a bigger head diameter so it doesn't sit as flush but flush enough to work. Chassis also comes with polycarbonate dust cover. The plastic appears to be possibly maybe composite plastic but does not look or feel cheap. The mounting points are robust and seemed to be designed to take a beating, There is an alloy beam running the length of the chassis which is a nice thing to see on a car this size. There is no adjustments to camber on either end. Toe might be possible due to the tie-rods being adjustable. Diffuser bumper has a honeycomb pattern molded into the inside of it and braced to the rear gearbox. The front bumper is plastic and has a foam secondary bumper sandwiched between a plastic top brace that is attached to the front gearbox. Suspension: Car has 4 alloy oil filled shocks. The metal ball cups that the shock ends attach to have smooth free movement but have zero play, amazing! To my surprise, the shocks have threaded collars to adjust height/preload. No clue what oil is included. May take it apart at some point. Drivetrain: Car is 4WD with a steel driveshaft running through the chassis connecting both gearboxes. There is no center diff. The front diff has thicker oil than the rear. If I am not mistaken, the diff gears are metal as they should be for the speed and abuse these will take. Hubs are plastic but axles are steel CVDs. Bearings: Have not verified all of the chassis but i have read that the chassis uses bearings although I did see a brass bushing being used on part of the steering. Electronics: The car comes with Sensorless Brushless 45A ESC and 3700kv 2845 motor, Cooling fan with alloy heatsink, 2 cell Lion battery (7.4v), Deans connectors, 3 channel small standalone receiver with 2 fan ports, a gyro which works excellent by the way. If you notice that the car has very limited steering, you can lower gyro gain and regain more steering. Shutting it off makes the car a handful. You WILL want to dial it back up for high speed runs. Speaking of which car is very fast on included smallish 2000mah 2S but becomes a beast on 3S (45mph supposedly). battery tray has more room for longer/taller batteries. Radio is a good looking bargain radio which feels very light. Has 3 modes Off/70%/100%. 2.4GHZ Radio only provides trim for throttle and steering, no rates adjustment etc. not the best feel but it works well. Requires only 2xAA batteries to power it. Great thing is you can always pop out the receiver and swap it for your favorite radio although you may lose LED signal/reverse light function unless this can be fixed with mixing channels on radio? Wheels: out of the box has grippy rubber tires on white wheels but comes with plastic drift tires and another set of rubber knobbies! Impression: Build quality is great, car is a little hefty for its size but that's because it built like a little tank. The weight does not keep it from hitting high top speeds. I mostly race buggies but I am a sucker for quick little bashers. The build quality is great, the car reaches speeds that make me giggle and the only thing I would change is the radio to get more adjustment out of it but I honestly don't need to. Hard to beat what you get at this price. Only regret I have is not having bought it sooner.
