This replacement charger was a compatible fit for my Sonicare HX685J. After searching all the options and all the models listed, this is the only one I found. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. It fit well, charged well, and functions even better than the original with little rubber stoppers for stability. Plus it’s a great price. It’s only been a few days, and I’ll update if there are any issues, but so far so good.

I left my original Sonicare charger at a hotel while traveling. This one works as well as the original. It is 120/220V compatible which is convenient while traveling overseas. I do not notice any difference in charging capability or speed. The charger stays cool while charging. The only reason why I know that it is a generic charger is that sometimes I need to pull my toothbrush off the charger since the plastic part that sticks out to hold my toothbrush on the charger is not designed specifically for my toothbrush model and is larger than the original. This is something I clearly do not care about hence the 5 stars. It is way better than buying an entirely new tooth brush with a new charger.
