ORIJEN Fit & Trim Grain Free High Protein Premium Dry Cat Food 4lb Bag

We picked up a stray kitten named Pawl, and the little guy needed something consistent and high-quality to pack on some meat. He loved the food at first and, over the following months, came to prefer wet food. We still occasionally buy Orijen Fit and Trim to mix into the wet food. Keep in mind that this can be hit or miss if your cat is hooked on unhealthy alternatives. It can take a couple of days or weeks for them to finish their bowls with each serving. Even cats love junk food! The 4lb Fit and Trim bag is a decent size, dry coarse texture, smells like cat food, and left our new kitten looking healthy by the time the bag was empty. Highly recommend for high-quality cat food with a health focus. The value for money is on par with similar high end dru cat foods.

We have a Maine Coon kitten that was started off with raw food. After a month or so she quit eating it so I reached out to her breaded and she suggested Orijen as a good substitute. I had tried one of the other two main brands recommended by veterinarians and one of them turns out to be owned by a pharmaceutical company. So I ditched that and started this Orijen for kittens. I have since bought Orijen for my two cats, they aren’t as excited about the kibble for weight control. I am working towards getting them all close to the same diet, making it easier on all of us. My Maine coon kitten loves this kibble. The quality of this food and the ingredients are incredible and she loves the taste. One of my cats tries to eat the kittens kibble so it must taste good. It’s appearance is different in color and size, it doesn’t seem to have whatever it is that smells so strong that the cats run to it, they eat it because they like it, ok and maybe out of necessity. I would recommend Orijen because of the ingredients, protein is key, and it doesn’t have a lot of fillers.

This was such aGood Find. My cat actually has more energy and feels better after eating this cat food. I am so pleased that she looks forward to her mail every morning.

Kibble is small, which makes it harder for our cat to get it out of the enrichment feeder. Still, beat the price on the rx food the vet gave us. Our cat's a little overweight so we need to count her calories. This was marginally higher than the Hill rx kibble for weight loss, and is more convenient to buy. And that's without also pointing out the quality ingredients it's made of.

My cats love it, however, the one cat that needs to lose weight, hasn’t lost yet, but I will give it more time. Saw a video on YouTube that this was a very good food for your cats.

Since I started feeding my Siamese cats Orijen, they have been in perfect health. Usually, around 7-8 years the Siamese cats have been known to develop Kidney Disease. It only happened before when I used other special Doctors formulas. I will never do that again. Orijen keeps my cats healthy. I will never use another brand. Thank you Orijen for having special sales. It is excellent quality and it helps with this economy.

It is kind of expensive but all good ingredients.

My 3 cats are Satisfied on small amounts of this food. They’re fit, energetic, and have normal elimination, which makes it much easier to keep their boxes clean. My oldest cat is 16+, and was on the verge of euthanasia with kidney and digestive issues. Her first exposure to Orijen Guardian (for Old cats), resulted in vomiting for almost 2 days, but we persevered because she was out of options. She was vomiting blood on food she’d eaten most of her life. The Orijen vomiting was not bloody, just undigested from eating too much. Within 2 days she adjusted how much she ate; no more vomiting. Three months later, she eats smaller amounts than she did her old food; her elimination is normal. She is not bloated. She sleeps better, and is feisty and playful. She’s not seeking food all the time. She looks and acts Years younger. This food has no starch or grains to bloat or irritate or hike her appetite. I wish we’d found it years ago.

El producto es muy bueno, de una marca reconocida por su calidad y salubridad. Sin embargo hay que poner atención en los distribuidores por que un aspecto importante al comprarlo es su fecha de caducidad que debe ser de al menos 4 meses de vigencia sino los 6 meses como mínimo y esto no siempre lo cumplen sus distribuidores que envían este producto próximo a su fecha de caducidad. "Ojo" con esto al comprarlo, al menos aquí en México. Yo tuve que devolverlo por esta razón.
