Great scooter for an older kid
I bought this last Christmas for my son. He loves it. Really easy to ride and control. It doesn't go too fast which is good for me as a parent. It seems really durable and solid. Charging is easy and there is an app you can use to check the battery life, speed, etc. Overall I recommend.

Sturdy, dependable, great quality, long lasting
We bought 2 (one for each boy) of the NIU electric scooter with the suspension. Love this electric scooter. We drive it on gravel and it handles amazingly. The motor is great. This thing is fast! It has two modes. E and S. One is a little slower than the other. The best scooters around, and we have driven quite a few. Battery life is great. Weight is perfect, if it was lighter it wouldn’t be made as well. I have two boys and they have drove them steadily through rain puddles and down a 1/2 mile gravel lane a couple times a week not including all our camping trips we have had this past year. We have had them and rode them regularly for approximately 9 months and they are still amazing, very durable and strong. Also I love the sturdiness of the charger and port and the location, it’s perfect, not easy to damage.

Cracked Frame on both sides
The first few months this was a pretty good entry level scooter for the price I paid, the first problem I ran into was that I could never get the app to record my mileage. Then after actually riding the scooter I started to get flats on the rear tire, I’ve already replaced the tube over 6 to 7 times and even patched the tubes several times as well. Now just about a week ago I noticed that I have 2 cracks in the frame where the frame tubing meets the stem. I’m afraid to even ride it now because of the cracks in the frame which could cause a serious accident and I could get hurt. I just was looking over the reviews and I’m not the only person with a cracked frame in the exact spot where my frame is cracked. So if you purchased this scooter I’d be very careful and make sure you check your frame. I’ve included pictures of the cracks in my frame.

Best entry level but not perfect, almost.
Great for what it is. Short battery life & it’s the slowest scooter I’ve owned. I’m 6ft, 200lbs but Great Build Quality & I knew it was entry level & expected the performance I received. The bell is a piece of crap that fell off within the first week & I changed the only popped tire, the back to airless. I’m handy and have worked on scooters before but if your not, changing any tire will be a pain. The app is useless imo & it doesn’t log total miles which is a bummer. I believe it will hold resell & agree, it’s the best entry level scooter you can buy and almost perfect.

Bang for Buck
I used ai to help generated the review below becasue I couldn't fully write out my thoughts in a coherent way. I have done extensive research looking for a beginner electric scooter for my 10-year-old son, and after comparing countless models, the NIU K100P (KQi 100P) was the only logical choice. While I am aware that the recommended age for this unit is technically higher, I made a strategic decision to skip the standard "kid" scooters. I didn't want to spend money on a smaller, underpowered toy that he would physically or skillfully outgrow in six months. The K100P sits at the exact same price point as many of those junior models but offers a machine he can actually grow into. Why this was a "No-Brainer" Purchase: Brand Trust: NIU is a legitimate, named brand in the EV space, which gave me much more confidence than buying a generic knock-off. Feature Density: Finding a scooter with front suspension in this price bracket is almost unheard of. It adds a level of safety and stability that cheaper rigid scooters just don't have. Value: You are simply getting a lot more vehicle for your money here. Note: This is currently wrapped up as a Christmas present, so I cannot speak to the long-term reliability just yet. I will be sure to update this review down the road once he unboxes it and gets some miles on the tires. However, based on the research, build quality, and specs-per-dollar, this is an easy 5 stars.

Don't expect the app to work properly if you're using an iPhone.
I have used a few scooters that have kinda shoddy apps, but wow is this bad. Everything seems to work fine except two absolutely essential aspects: Ride Tracking Total Mileage I've been in contact with the company for over two weeks now. They have NOT been helpful in the slightest. It's been determined to be the app and firmware that are having problems being able to record any kind of data for rides at all. So why is this 3 stars and not 1? The scooter itself is actually VERY good, especially for the price of the scooter itself. Some of the application works like a dream like tweaking ride speeds, dynamic modes, regenerative braking, etc. All those work absolutely fine, which is why I and the majority of users are at an absolute loss as to why they didn't focus at all on the app experience which is likely the easiest part to fix for the entire experience! Their solution is to send back the scooter which doesn't seem to do anything since it's the fault of the app and firmware itself!

Good Scooter
I've never owned an electric scooter before. We were looking at some for our 9 year old daughter when I thought it might be fun to have my wife and I join her and make it a family thing. I bought my daughter a different brand and when looking for ours I was nervous tbh. I already soooo many reviews on a bunch of different scooters. I found myself on Reddit asking for advice when I noticed a trend ... Most everyone was saying this was the best scooter for the cost. I was hesitant to pull the trigger but decided while on sale let's give it a shot. I ordered two one for myself and one for my wife. They say in my closet for about a month and the entire time I kept coming back reading reviews wondering if I would have charging issues or battery issues etc. On Xmas eve we popped them open and to my relief they charged just fine (quicker then I thought they would) the app wasn't hard to use and when it was time to go out and use them....oh man what a blast. These were definitely worth the purchase. They are durable, the suspension was great, it picked up speed quick and maintained it well. Our neighbor also has a few inclines that I was a bit concerned about, but was able to hit almost top speed up the hill. For reference I'm 5'9 170 ibs and my wife is 5'3 120.

Lovely beginner scooter
I love this thing. Definitely a smooth ride. There's a slight imperfection on the display screen but not really a bother. My only gripe with this scooter is definitely the battery. Doesn't hold the greatest charge and charging takes a bit.
