As someone with an older car, it originally didn't have CarPlay, much less wireless CarPlay. Nonetheless, after installing an aftermarket stereo, I upgraded my car to having the modern luxuries of CarPlay. However, I wanted to get wireless CarPlay in my car because it feels so much more modern to be able to simply walk into my car and be on my way rather than having to plug in my phone like I'm in the 2000s. This product does what you're expecting; it enables wireless CarPlay in your vehicle. You simply plug it in the USB port (it comes with an included USB-A to USB-C adapter, but I only used the USB-A adapter) and then you connect to it on your iPhone via BOTH Bluetooth and WiFi. Connection is fast (it launches within seconds of turning on the vehicle) and the sound quality is no different than when I used to plug in my phone. One caveat is that the sound is delayed so if you pause, it takes a second or two. I believe you can adjust the latency in the unit's advanced settings (you access it through your iPhone's web browser; you can also upgrade the unit's firmware there) but I didn't play around with latency because it doesn't really bother me. I'm listening to music the entire drive so it's not like I'm playing or pausing often. Where you may notice it more is if you're trying to watch a video while using it, but you shouldn't be watching videos while driving anyway! Overall, it's a good device and helps breathe some modernity to any "older" car without wireless CarPlay. I do wish there was a way to attach this device as the cable is quite short, but depending on your car's USB port location, this may or may not be an issue.

Instructions make it very easy to set up. In fact the quick guide was all I needed. My unit is installed in a 2023 Hyundai Tucson. It connects every time and pretty fast too. Sound quality is excellent. UPDATE: After using this device for several weeks I have had no issues with it at all. It connects flawlessly and pretty fast too each time I get in and start my car. It has an LED indicator on top informing me of its status. The sound quality is the same as a wired connection. It is very small and takes up very little room. I am extremely pleased with this wireless adaptor. It's as if you have a built in receiver. SECOND UPDATE: I've been using this adaptor for months now and it has not failed me. It connects very quickly every time and the functions and sound quality is no different than the wired connection. I'm very pleased.

This product works great, connects fast to my phone and I dont have any lag or anything while playing my music. The only problem I have is that when I'm at home/work and my car is off I get a notification on my phone ever 2 minutes saying its trying to connect to my device which would be an annoying problem because I can just turn my bluetooth off but then my phone won't connect to my watch so I have to keep unplugging the device in my car everytime I get out and into my car.

The device connects to the car easily, but the sound keeps cutting out. its really annoying. I tried to reset and it works for 1 or 2 days and then same problem again

Se conectó sin problemas, es muy compacto funciona de maravilla. Está un poco caro respecto a otros. Pero no sé si los otros puedan ser mejores. Por el tamaño y conectividad. Vale mucho la pena.

A titulo muy personal y puede ser que mi dispositivo no sea compatible al 100% con este producto. Cuento con una pantalla Alpine ILX-W650 la cual es compatible con Carplay por cable, puedo decir que si funciona pero en ocasiones tarda mucho en conectar y en ocasiones no se conecta hasta que apague y encienda nuevamente la pantalla, de 100 veces 40 de ellas tuve que prender y apagar el vehículo. Una vez que se conecta trabaja perfectamente y sin ningún inconveniente por lo que puedo decir que el problema tal vez sea mi pantalla, en cuestión de calidad de construcción le doy un 10/10, se siente la calidad de material
