This little thing packs a lot of punch. The clarity is excellent. I got this for font editing because of the high DPI (331) and it delivers in that aspect very well. I also got it for photo editing and the high DPI is great for double checking the edit. If you set the scaling to 200% it's actually usable as a main screen for productivity apps like Photoshop. It's great for watching videos. At least in terms of picture quality- the speakers are not impressive but it has them if you need them. But the colors are amazing and I didn't even need to adjust the color profile, they were pretty accurate on factory settings. It works okay for gaming. There is some smearing/ghosting. The worst scenarios are when the scene has a lot of washed out grays, like in Dark Souls 3. You need to turn off motion blur in these games because the ghosting is already like motion blur. It was still playable but it was right on the threshold of what I would consider acceptable. I would definitely not play the whole game on this monitor. But in more bright games the smearing is hardly noticeable and the 13" screen is actually a great size for certain games like celeste and hollow knight. The form factor is nice. The magnets are strong enough that it doesn't slip. Construction feels solid. The kickstand keeps its angle and is sturdy. Overall I'm really impressed with this display for its price.

If you're used to the MacBook's “Retina” display's, you know how your eyes are spoiled by sharp, crisp text. The problem is that many external monitors don't match the built-in monitor's pixel density and quality. Text is fuzzy and this drives me crazy if you spend hours staring at code. When I looked for a portable monitor to use on the road in hotel rooms, a Retina-quality display was all but impossible to find on Amazon until I came across this KEEPTIME 4K portable monitor. I'm super pleased with the picture quality. So much so that I use it even at home now, as a *third* external monitor. A few weeks ago, a third of the screen started flickering. It had gone bad. I contacted the company since it was still in the warranty period. They promptly sent me a replacement unit! It was truly hassle-free. I've been recommending this portable monitor to coworkers because it's 4K. The fact that the company also stands by their products makes me feel even better about my purchase.

The screen image was very good but after a short while I could not get an image but only the message "No signal"...and that despite using various C ports combination and another cable just in case... The Sellers apologized for the issues and trouble and provided me with a full refund and that despite having used it for more than 30 days... Although we never got to know the issue(s), I give the Seller a 4 starts for their service and reactiveness.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a great little display. I travel a lot and wanted a second monitor I could easily setup in an airport or shared office space. The resolution and colors are superb and I have had no issues connecting to a couple of different windows laptops. At home I have it as a third monitor which has been surprisingly useful. Only very minor complaint is I’d like to change the default brightness to 5 instead of minimum but that’s no big deal

It is a perfect companion to my MacBook Air. The picture is crisp - 4K (or lower if you want). Power and video through the USB C cable connected to the computer (remember - the quality of the cable needs to be able to carry power and video - not all USB C cables qualify). The USB C to C cable provided in the box works just fine. I love how thin monitor is, and that it comes with a cover. It slips into my slim computer bag right next to my MacBook Air . So far - nothing to complain about!!

I got the 13.3" portable 4K monitor . Unfortunately, the one that I received was not "Glossy" as described in its info, instead it has a Matte surface. Image quality not as sharp and crisp as some of the others in its size range. I wasn't sure if they had sent me the wrong model as there are different variations in this listing so I requested a replacement. The second one I received also was not Glossy but is Matte so I concluded it was a description error. I then tested out the monitor a little more, running into another issue. When I switch it to HDR mode, the screen keeps flickering and stops when I turn it off. For a $160 portable monitor its really not worth the value.

I wasn’t expecting much from a 4K monitor at this pricepoint but it works and looks great. Pleasantly surprised and totally satisfied with the purchase. It is much thinner and lighter than my colleagues that have slightly older monitors that now look like dinosaurs. One thing to note: when it turns on, the screen brightness is all the way down. Don’t be disappointed! Just turn it up and it’s bright and beautiful.

Great HDR. I can really see the difference when I enabled HDR mode on hogwarts legacy on my laptop. It works great when connected to my camera.
