When they say they guarantee it can be seen even in daylight they arent kidding. Pretty much anytime except direct hit from the Nevada mid day sun and you can see it lit colors and all. Direct hit you can still read the sign just no colors. The setup is super easy with or without the phone app. Has many effects and color combinations. Wish there were more but thats getting very picky. Absolutely great value. I have to admit we will be doing some minor, warranty voiding modifications to make it as weatherproof as possible to use outdoor too. Because LEDs use solid state electronics “circuit boards” they are highly susceptible to moisture failure. An LED sign that is rated for outdoor use would be 3x the cost. All that said, as long as you can keep it from getting wet or too humid it can work outdoors but it will void the warranty. Enjoy! **Q: Do you have anyone in greater Los Angeles area that has one of these signs so that I can see how bright they are and speak with the purchaser?** A: It's so bright my iPhone XR can't capture a quality video of it. Also, I have to squint my eyes while looking. You can change the color of any of the lights including the days to make it 'less intense". **Q: Can I control the sign from home? Say if the weather is bad I can change the hours to closed instead of having to come in to change it?** A: You can't, it's bs. You can only change your hours by Bluetooth until it asks for a password then it will never allow you to change the sign again with Bluetooth. It must all be done manually from that period forward.
