Little Donkey Andy Men's Long Waterproof Rain Jacket with Hood Lightweight Rain Shell for Hiking

I am 5'10" at 185lbs. I usually wear either medium or large. I have a medium windbreaker jacket I wear all the time with a t-shirt underneath it. I ordered this jacket large thinking I can wear a sweat shirt underneath this one if there is extra room. I have a broad shoulder but don't have guts. This large jacket is plenty large and is true to its size. I can wear it with a thick sweat shirt with even extra room. A lot of reviewers complain their jacket runs small but their sizes are all at least 2XLG. If you have a big belly, the slim fitting nature of the jacket may not fit around the belly by its own design. It does run a bit longer than my other jacket but I can tighten the string at the end to bring it up a touch. It's good for taller people. I could have gotten away with a medium if I only wear t-shirts underneath but large turned out plenty big. If you don't have guts and have a fit body, I believe this jacket will fit true to its size.As for the quality, this is a very nice jacket for the price I paid. It's waterproof and is not thin and flimsy. It has enough layers that feel like a solid jacket and has the look of a nice Columbia jacket. The hood can be tucked into the back side of the collar if you don't live in a rainy area. I leave mine out all the time since I live in the PNW. This was a good buy.

I absolutely love this raincoat. I bought one for me for an Alaskan cruise and ended up buying one for my adult son and husband. It fit perfectly.

I have several other Little Donkey shirts which are sized perfect if not just a little large. Nice to have some extra to allow layering, so that's a good thing. All are size XL. This jacket has the sleeve and core lengths perfect but the shoulders are tight. I can get in the thing and zip it up, but if I needed to add any layering underneath it would be impossible; the shoulders restrict move my arms forward as it is.Good things:I really like the quality of the material and the quality of the stitching. Everything seems secure and in place.I really like how the hood tucks away under the collar with 3 velcro tabs. Most only have one or they have a zipper which is unneeded weight.It is lightweight with a partial mesh lining which I like as it allows a breathing room for the jacket without making it feel or wear heavy.I like how the jacket provides a light amount of thermal retention. Functions just as a shell should.Really the only thing I don't like about this jacket is the sizing is greatly off from the sizing of the same brand shirts. I would think for an outerwear item the sizing difference would go the other way to allow room for some layering if conditions require.

Once I received it I was instantly happy. The fit, color and quality is nice. Thanks to the Amazon representative I finally have my package. So happy I'm ordering the pants to the jacket soon. Haven't been able to use it yet, but, I'm sure it will do what it's made for.

Very light weight. Quality material and stitching. Size fits a little large which can be beneficial when wearing over other clothing. Jacket is longish but the drawstring makes it adjustable to your liking.

10 out of 10 is what this rain jacket should be allowed to have for stars! Got caught in some nasty rain hiking the Appalachian Trail recently and this jacket held up GREAT! Everything about this is well made and quality materials.

It’s a decent jacket reasonably priced. Notes as follows:I’m 6’1” 220 lbs. the XL fit but not ‘baggy’ like a typical windbreaker. Sizing like a fitted shirt- order a size up if you want room.Length fell about 2” below waist- was hoping for longer, but acceptable. Sleeves were right.I liked the colors offered, the fabric that covers the zipper, modest logo, and the stow away hood feature. Pockets are plenty big.Material is polyester, not nylon, so it’s light, thin & windbreaker feel. Not ‘rugged’ or ‘stiff’ like a heavy duty outdoor garment.Decent jacket overall. Priced right, good looking & versatile for casual wear that does not scream ‘outdoors’

While I have not had a chance to test it for its main purpose the jacket is correctly sized and very nice looking. I will update after wearing in the rain.
