What a great product, saved me money and hassle of retrofitting old wood drawers with rails. I put the tape on the bottom of the drawers wood sides, on the center wood spine, and at the opening of the cabinet front, all where wood meets wood. Everything slides so well, and quiets the squeaks, no sticking. Worth double the price. Much better than waxing.

This stuff is the bomb.. Used it for my saw foot so it would slide on wood easier and boy did it ever. For drawer slides i'm sure it would be superb.

Used this to make my wooden dresser drawers open and close easier and it worked perfectly. Easy to reposition during initial installation, but with weight having been put on it, it is securely adhered in place. Have had it installed for about a month now and there has been no wear to the tape. Great product.

Works well. Great price. I have an unfinished wood rod that I wanted to keep a natural finish. The rings were getting stuck. This did the trick! So easy to open and close now.

FYI, this is Teflon coated fiberglass tape. NOT solid. Nice and slippery, textured due to the fiberglass, adhesive seems sticky. No damage from the soldering iron, as expected. HDPE would have melted...

I wanted this tape to ease the sliding on drawers with wood on wood glides. In my case, the glides had three points of contact - top, bottom, and sides. Perhaps I made a judgement error by attempting to apply the tape to all three contact points - and on both sides of the drawer, which then totaled six locations per drawer. The tape proved to be too bulky, and bunched up. I I were to try to ease the glides one more time, I probably should have looked more carefully to determine where the sticking points were, and just applied one strip of tape where it was most needed. However, in the end I switched to a different type of product - a dry lube with tiny bits of a Teflon-like plastic dispersed in a sealing liquid. When sealant dried, the drawer moved much more easily. Ultimately, I think that I prefer the dry lube solution. It was neat and simple. I will hold on to this tape, however. A new project may arise for which this product with be superior.

I was skeptical about this product at first to help with my wooden drawers but it worked wonders. Short of converting them to metal drawer slides, this is the next best thing and is fairly easy to do. It made a significant difference in reducing friction so the drawer slides open and close much easier. I can now open a large drawer from one side without it getting stuck immediately. I'd buy them again.
