So fun! Me and my 4 year old had a great time with all of these experiments. They were all easy to do and had great results!

Our elf brought this for my kids and they were definitely a hit. Fun little ornaments, simple easy and enjoyable experiments.

I got this for my son. The ornaments are kind of cheaply made upon opening them to get the stuff out one of the ornaments caved in they're made of thick cardboard type material and 2 of the ornaments containes the same exact dinosaur and the other 2 had a rock in each. My son had fun chipping away to see what he got but was disappointed when 2 of them were the same

Bought this for a grandson that was 9 & he loved it.

These were a total hit for Christmas. And, the bulbs are re-usable

Kids did enjoy this, but sometimes became too frustrated.

Grandkids liked this kit so much I decided to buy a bigger science kit. It was very nice that the supplies were included, a easy to follow booklet with step by step directions complete with pictures. In addition, included A booklet of experiments to do with household items. This small little kit entertained a 10 yo, and 7 yo over the holiday break. They had fun while stimulating their brains! Great value for the money. Definitely recommend to give the children a taste of science experiments first without spending $$on bigger sets.

J’ai commandé ces Boules de Noël Scientifiques pour les enfants afin d’avoir une activité originale pendant les vacances. Nous avons ouvert une boule tous les deux jours avant Noël, et voici notre retour : 🟢 Concept original : combiner décoration de Noël et activité de fouille scientifique est une très bonne idée. 🟢 Activité ludique et éducative : les enfants adorent creuser pour découvrir les gemmes ou les mini dinosaures, tout en apprenant grâce au petit guide inclus. 🟢 Kit complet : outils adaptés fournis, pas besoin d’acheter autre chose pour commencer. 🟢 Bon niveau de difficulté : assez facile pour ne pas frustrer, mais demande quand même de la patience. 🟢 Moment de concentration : occupe bien les enfants et les éloigne des écrans pendant un bon moment. 🟢 Peut servir de décoration : les boules peuvent être accrochées au sapin avant ou après l’activité. * Activité un peu salissante : la poussière du bloc à creuser tombe facilement, mieux vaut protéger la table. * Une fois les 4 boules ouvertes, l’activité est terminée assez rapidement. * Les gemmes et dinosaures sont petits, il faut faire attention à ne pas les perdre. --- En résumé, ces boules scientifiques sont une activité amusante et éducative pour la période de Noël. Originales et engageantes, elles plaisent beaucoup aux enfants, même si l’activité reste ponctuelle et demande un peu de préparation pour éviter les salissures.

Lieferumfang & erster Eindruck 4 Ornamente: Mischung aus Edelstein-Überraschungen und Dino-Fossil-Themen (je Ornament ein „Ausgrabungsblock“). Werkzeug-Set: Meißel, Pinsel (und je nach Set Lupe/Schnur) – für Kinderhände gut greifbar. Lernheft: Kompakt und kindgerecht – Infos zu Gesteinen, Mineralien und Dinos, dazu kleine Fun-Facts. Verarbeitung: Ornamente stabil, die Blöcke gleichmäßig gehärtet; nichts bröckelt schon vor dem Start. Ausgrabung in der Praxis Setup: Zeitung/Backpapier unterlegen, Schüssel Wasser bereitstellen – die Blöcke kurz anfeuchten, dann staubt es weniger und es geht leichter. I ordered the Blue Marble Svience Surprise Christmas Ornament Dig Kits as a fun Christmas activity to do with my 2.5 and 5 year old, who both really enjoyed the dig kits I've gotten them in the past. The set comes with 4 ornaments - 2 with mini gemstones and 2 with mini dinosaurs. This was perfect for the kids as they each got one gemstone and one dino to dig. The gemstones came in a "rock" and the dinos came in a "fossil". Each ornament came with its own mini digging tools that were the perfect size for my kids' little hands. They were relatively easy to dig out, but we did add a few drops of water to help soften it for them. They did still need some minor assistance, but we're able to do it independently for the most part. They loved finding their surprise and my oldest was interested in learning about the different gemstones and dinos (there is an information page included with each ornament to help parents!). We did gemstones on one day and dinos on another, so they kids were able to enjoy the activity spread out over two days. It can get pretty messy so I suggest some type of plastic tablecloth and avoiding any carpets or rug areas. It was also sweet that the ornaments can be closed back up and hung on the tree.
