OCEANZEN: Ahi Tuna Saku AAA Sashimi Grade, Frozen, Wild Caught (4.5 lbs)

Great sashimi sushi! It's a little tricky as far as shipping so pay attention/depending on where it's going, the season, and which day during the week you order. I ordered from them twice because the sushi sashimi taste amazing and literally melts in my mouth. The price is also pretty reasonable. It doesn't smell fishy so its usually a sign that it's fresh. The individual wrapped sashimi is not equal but reasonable in size. The first time, everything came mostly frozen so I didn't have any problem. The second time, it came mostly thawed which ended up being a problem because we ordered a lot and we just couldn't refreeze or eat it all on time. However, it a good company and they responded my concerns at great speed. They did their best to find a solution. I will order from them again, but I will probably only order from them in the winter just to be safe.

I was a little worried at first when I saw the price. especially since it's frozen. I've bought yellow fin tuna locally here in Texas and it's been mediocre at best. They came very quickly and they were all individually vacuum sealed so they could be kept fresh in the freezer until I was ready to use them. These made some of the best sushi we have ever had. absolutely delicious and am ordering more today. I am also going to try some of their other items as price is competitive with what I see locally and it's delivered quickly right to your door. The texture was good and the flavor was fantastic.

I have 5 stars for the Tuna itself However, the delivery service set my box out by the street and not even on my porch. I was lucky enough to find it before someone could steal it. Very disappointed with the delivery.

I was a bit nervous about buying fish online, Just had sashimi dinner and have to say this stuff is top restaurant quality stuff. Shipped on a box , inside a cool bag inside of another insulated bag full of ice packs . Not cheap, but worth every penny , considering how much a sashimi dinner will cost you in a restaurant not to mention the bottle of wine etc . Wife and I agreed sashimi dinner once a week uffff. I was craving a tuna poke bowl but had no options in my neighorbood, so on a whim I decided to purchase from OceanZen. The quality and speed of delivery blew my mind. I will definitely order again.

Just got my first order in. Great product. One piece of advice: look up how to best thaw tuna. Find some good info looking around. A couple of days before you are to going to use the tuna, take it out of the freezer and out of the back. Wrap it in a couple of layers of paper towels and place in the refrigerator. Change out the paper towels as the tuna thaws and releases moisture. I had to change them at least twice a day. This allows the tuna to thaw to refrigerator temperature while keeping it from becoming damp as the moisture is released.
