After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical about this lamp. The first 2 times using this it was fine no problem. But I’ve found some gels no matter how long you cure the gel for it doesn’t completely dry them.

This is my first time using a gel polish that requires curing with UV or LED light. I was skeptical because I've been doing my own nails forever with regular polish and some fast-drying types, and I'm pretty good at it. But it does take a long time to dry, and I end up doing them over a couple days to really let them harden, which gets in the way of other activities. SO - I bought this LadyMisty lamp, some inexpensive base- and top-coat, and a set of holiday nail colors as a frugal way to dip my toes in so to speak. Well I'm very surprised - I did a pretty good job of it, and it was a quick process all the way through! The light has three settings for 30 - 60 - 90 seconds, but in case you need a bit more time you can just pop in for a few seconds more if you like and it turns of when you remove your hand. It has plenty of lights to encompass your whole hand so it dries all around evenly. As I said it turns off when you remove your hand. It's very attractive and lightweight, I'm storing it in the box it came in because it's not bulky, just the right size and protective when not in use (and I won't need to use it again for maybe 3 weeks!). One caveat is that if you move your hand inside, it may start the timer over, but that's not a big deal. I really love this product!

Is this lamp very small.

Ever since doing my gel x nails, this lamp has been my go to. It’s simple with only three settings. The light is bright and WORKS. it’s a great purchase for those who like to do their nails but don’t wanna spend their money. I’ve had this for months now and hasn’t failed me.

I’m really impressed with this nail lamp. The size is perfect. It’s compact enough to store easily, but still big enough to fit my whole hand comfortably without feeling cramped. It cures gel polish quickly and evenly, and I’ve had no issues with under-curing or sticky spots. My nails come out fully set and glossy every time. The timer options are clear and easy to use, and I like that it has multiple settings depending on what I’m doing. The display is simple and accurate, which makes the whole process feel smooth and controlled. For the price, this works just as well as more expensive lamps I’ve tried. If you’re doing gel at home, this is a solid choice.

I bought this lamp in April 2025 it did what i bought it for. I’m not sure what the light bulb life expectancy is but 10 months feels short ? The top digital screen works but none of the bulbs work as of Jan 27 2026
