Her Talc-Free Body Powder with Hydro-Shield Technology, Unscented Feminine Corn Starch Powder for Women, Sweat and Odor Control

A nice powder that works rather well. It's a very fine powder that feels good when spread around the body. Though it's soft and soothing, it does not have that silky smoothness that a regular talc powder has, but that's because it does not contain those ingredients that create that feeling. It still feels good and well worth the trade off. Maybe because I haven't gone overboard with the application, I've not had all of that white powder residual over my body that gets everywhere. You really don't need to use that much anyway. They say this is unscented, and it truly is. Not even the smell of the basic ingredients. You just can't smell this at all. So far, it seems to work well for me. It does help to re-apply on more stressful and humid days, but it's clean and usually easy enough to do. I really like the limited amount of holes along the top of the canister which limits how much spills out when you pour this into your hand. Helps to keep your use much cleaner so that you aren't getting powder everywhere. Though they are selling this as being for women, there is absolutely no reason why it can't be used by men. I'm sure that they too would benefit from this powder. It seems safe and it's really very clean. Very nice to have as part of your personal care regimen.

I want to preface my review by saying that I have witnessed, first hand, what the whole J&J lawsuit was about. I won't get into detail, but it scared the 'you know what' out of me and I am very careful now about buying body powder that is talc free. I was unaware of the Chassis brand prior to picking up this product, but I was very intreguied. I absolutely love the ingredient list (both what this has as well as what it doesn't) and figured that with a price tag this high, the product would be the most incredible thing ever. The bottle arrived quick, sealed to prevent any product from leaking out and to prevent any adulteration, with a plastic sleeve. The bottle is not small, but it's smaller than I had expected it to be. Once you flip the cap, there are e little holes, close together, where the powder is distributed from. I absolutely love this because it really helps control where the powder goes and prevents it from getting everywhere. The powder, being corn starch based, is a bit more grainy/gritty than other powders that are super light, fluffy and contain talc. It's a lot more dense than those other powders as well, but not out of the ordinary for corn starch based powders. It still feels nice and soft on the skin and is easy to sprwad/distribute. This product is unscented, meaning there is no fragrance added to it, but to be honest I kind of wish there was- and not because I like scented products. This definitely has a bit of a peculiar odor, which is obviously from one or a combo of the ingredients themselves. I am shocked that others are saying it has no smell at all because it VERY clearly does. It's not strong or overwhelming, but I noticed it immediately when I had just a little bit in my hand. The smell sticks to the body too. I feel like it smells like play dough a bit, with another mute scent mixed in. Again, it's faint but noticable. I ended up putting a few drops of essential oil into the bottle and really shaking the life out of it and it worked out well (thankfully) and I don't notice the play dough smell anymore. One of the things this powder does VERY well is keep you dry. Actually, it does that almost TOO well. I know that sounds crazy, but if this is on your skin for longer than 2 seconds it immediately sucks every last drop of moisture out of your skin. It's almost insane how quick and effective this is at absorbing moisture. I have to wash this off my hands immediately after I've put it on my body because it dries them out like rasins and I don't want dry hands. When it's in place, it keeps you dry for hours, even in high humidity! The powder delivers on its other claims well too. It stops chaffing, keeps the skin soft, cool and dry and, because it stops sweat it keeps the stink away too. This is my literal secret weapon in the hubby's or teenagers stinky shoes. It's really a nice product that works exactly how it's intended to, which is always a good thing. Here's my thing though- I can't, no matter how much I look into the ingredients, figure out why the price of this bottle is SO HIGH! I'm sorry but it's just not worth $25 or even $20- no body powder is. There's nothing in the formula that is that special or difficult/expensive to procure and corn starch is very affordable. If this was $15, I would consider re-purchasing it again but even that is pretty high for what this actually is. Plus, I know there are A LOT of other products just like this that deliver the same results that cost a fraction of this bottle. So I just can't, in good faith, recommended this and tell you to spend your hard earned dollars on it when it's so outrageously overpriced. I would keep my eye out for sales/deals and pay no more than $15.

I am pretty impressed with how well this works for not being a talc based powder. It's super fine, goes on pretty smooth, and doesn't leave residue everywhere. I use in the usual spots where I perspire more in summer. Putting some on before my bra has been a game changer! I also use a little on my legs, which helps with any friction from rubbing as well as keeping me dry. It's a little pricey, but works really well. There is also no perfume scent or anything to bother my sensitive skin.

This non-talc powder gets the job done. It's a very fine powder that sprinkles on well and absorbs sweat, etc without issue. It sort of melts into your skin, and did not cake up. There was zero discernible scent (which for me is a big plus). The container itself is moderate sized, I anticipate this will last a few months without issue since I'm not an every day user.

The powder comes in a flip-top with a few small shaker holes in the cover under the lid. I couldn't detect any scent, even after it was applied. It's a fine powder, and I think the shaker holes are a bit large - I got a pretty big pile of powder in my palm even though I had barely tipped it over. Because it's a powder, it's a bit hard to apply with any precision, but once it's applied it absorbs easily and doesn't leave white marks or residue. I felt more comfortable during the day (I have a good amount of physical activity throughout the day), so despite the holes being a bit large I really enjoyed using the powder.

The powder works like it should, but it’s more to use in emergencies cause it smells kinda like Nair. It’s not super strong but it’s definitely noticeable.

When this Chassis for Her Body Powder arrived, the powder was absolutely everywhere outside of the container...a giant mess. The fact that it was not sealed did not make me feel safe enough to have it come in contact with my skin.
