The Whole Smiths Good Food Cookbook: Whole30 Endorsed, Delicious Real Food Recipes to Cook All Year Long – 150 Gluten-Free Recipes for Long-Term Health [Smith, Michelle, Urban, Melissa] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Whole Smiths Good Food Cookbook: Whole30 Endorsed, Delicious Real Food Recipes to Cook All Year Long – 150 Gluten-Free Recipes for Long-Term Health Review: the whole smiths first cookbook is stunning! - I am a new follower of the whole smiths, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on Michelle's first cookbook (and the first Whole30 endorsed cookbook)! I am also relatively new to Whole30 so I am always searching for compliant recipes. I love that Michelle's recipes are labeled gluten free, dairy free, Whole30, etc so that you know right away what will work for you. There are many recipes that are Whole30 compliant as written, but Michelle includes instructions to modify those that are not. There are also many categories of recipes (including mocktails!) so you can find something for any type of snack, side, meal, beverage, and even dessert! I've already tried several of the recipes in this book, and I can honestly say I have not yet found one that I didn't like or wouldn't make again. The Easy Bake Egg Cups, Spicy Tuna Salad, and Strawberry Balsamic Salmon (to name a few) are easy and delicious! Today I am trying Banana Eggs for the first time. I know, they sound weird, but if you follow the whole smiths on IG, you know they are a thing. I am excited to try them today! My last comment about this book- it is beautiful! The photographs are stunning, which is important since we tend to eat with our eyes first. The non-food photos are creative, simple, and elegant adding to the overall beauty of this book. If you love cookbooks like I do, the Good Food Cookbook will make a wonderful addition to your recipe library. Review: LOVE this cookbook; delicious and practical! - I first checked this cookbook out of the library because I already have so many cookbooks and don't need anything else cluttering up my shelves. However, I didnt want to return it because it had so many good recipes! So I knew I needed to order my own. Every recipe I've made from this book has turned out great, which is wonderful when you love to cook but have a large busy family of 7 with no time for failed dinner attempts. (I especially love her sheet pan hash browns and eggs!) Most of the recipes are quite simple yet good enough for company and perfect for weekday cooking. I also appreciate that, while all of these dishes can easily be considered healthy, the author is flexible as far as her own "rules." So you'll find recipes with cream but then alternative ideas if you cant do dairy. I appreciate this flexibility in an age when we all seem terrified to step outside the lines of some strict dietary format (keto, gluten free, etc). One of the best recipes I've taken from this book is her homemade mayo. Gone are the days when I'd spend 20 minutes drizzling oil over my blender. She does it in a jar with an immersion blender, and it's perfection! All in all, a nice practical book I'm glad to have and find myself turning to surprisingly often. *one note: one of her drink recipes (page 244; Salty Downward Dog) appears to have an inadvertent ingredient omission (ginger). I notified the author via her Facebook page but never received a reply. It's the only error I've found.

Not A whole 30 book, but really good healthy cookbook.
I borrowed this from the library and liked a few recipes so much I bought it. It is not whole 30 compliant, but I’m a heathy eater not on a 30 day elimination diet. For each recipe she lists which of the diet programs it is complient to as well as modifications to fix it for some. The recipes are relatively simple and easy to get ingredients and are a great addition for everyday healthy cooking. Everything that I’ve tried has been delicious and the instructions are good and easy to follow (except seriously, how do you serve 4 people with 3 beautiful grilled Romaine hearts?) My metric for a cookbook is how many go-to recipes are in it that I’ve made more than once, put in dinner rotation, “pre-open” to a page, and how dirty the pages are . I only have a handful of books that have more of these items ticked and they include: Gourmet, Art of French Cooking, Betty Crocker, Chocolate bible, Toro Bravo, Flour Water Salt Yeast. My biggest complaint is that for a healthy cookbook I want nutritional info included. At least all the macros.

SPECTACULAR COOKBOOK!
I highly recommend this gorgeous spectacular cookbook! Great easy flavorful healthy recipes that are easy to follow with helpful tips. Whole30 and Food Freedom... Just like the title says: GOOD FOOD COOKBOOK ... Amazing full page photos. So many good recipes to try which I have already have. SO GOOD! I wish I could give more than five stars + Thank you Michelle! Your GOOD FOOD COOKBOOK is on my top favorite list right next to Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook by Melissa Hartwig. One more note: I am a follower of the Whole30 community/program. Michele is one of my favorite bloggers among others. Learning to eat healthier was my goal and has made a huge change in my life. Thank you Whole30ers!

Delicious, good, food!
We love this cookbook. The recipes are delicious, healthy, and she gives lots of options to be able to change recipes to meet your health needs or taste preferences. Our favorites so far are the banana eggs and the twice baked broccoli ranch potatoes. I couldn’t give 5stars because the ingredients are written in smaller text than the introduction to the recipes which makes it harder to read when cooking, also there aren’t overall cook times on the recipes which would be helpful. The food is good though, and recipes are easy to follow otherwise.

Beautiful book, amazingly delicious recipes!!
I love this cookbook! I've been making so many of the recipes and have loved every single one! The chipotle-lime shrimp is AMAZING! The books is beautiful and has a great layout. Each page and recipe is formatted so it's easy to follow, easily broken down into steps and I really like the helpful tips at the end of several of them. I love that each recipe tells you if it's vegan, whole30, paleo, etc also. Great book full of beautiful and delicious recipes that are good for you! 100% recommend!

Don’t wait on this one
I never write reviews so this is saying a lot. I love this cookbook. I almost always find only a handful of recipes in a cookbook appealing, or attainable, but that’s not the case with this one. I have made 9, yes 9, recipes in the couple of weeks I have owned this book and have been SO impressed with the ease of each one. The simplest ingredients that don’t run you $75+ at the grocery store. I’ve made these for guests and no one knew they were paleo or whole30. I love that these recipes give you tips and modifications to make them whole30. Michelle’s voice is so perfectly captured in the book and I almost wish she shared more of it - the zucchini trauma is hilarious. I live by the one minute mayo and ranch vinaigrette, and chipotle crema- don’t get me started on the harissa chicken salad, and strawberry balsamic salmon. Seriously buy the book, worth every penny!

Best cookbook I've ever owned
I love this cookbook! I could easily make and eat every single recipe in it. The recipes and food in this book are DELICIOUS. Yes this book is ENDORSED by Whole30. And many recipes follow Whole30 or can be modified to fit Whole30. There are also categories for Paleo, Vegan, Dairy, Gluten Free, Nut Free, etc. If you like to eat healthy food, then this is the cookbook for you. If you are starting out in Whole30 and would like to have some more options for eating, this book is for you. I found several 'staples' from this cookbook while I was on Whole30 and I still use them to this day. Can't wait for the next cookbook to come out!
