I have an UE boom, a wonder boom, and now the mini roll. The mini roll is great value for money IF you buy it on sale. It’s a great speaker to take on trips which is why I purchased it. It’s more compact but not super light. The audio quality is really good if you’re listening in a room, although you can’t compare it to more expensive and bigger speakers. It looks like a wonder boom that was compressed in a trash compactor but it’s extremely small so that’s a good thing. Good functionality and easy to connect to made it a great purchase for me.

I’ve been using the Ultimate Ears miniroll for a couple of weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed by how much performance this little speaker packs. If you’re in the market for a highly portable, rugged, and stylish Bluetooth speaker, this might just be what you’re looking for. Pros: 1. Excellent sound quality for its size. Despite its compact form, the speaker delivers clear, vibrant audio with surprisingly strong bass. It’s perfect for small gatherings, outdoor adventures, or even just relaxing at home. 2. Truly portable. This speaker is designed with portability in mind. It’s lightweight, fits easily in a backpack or even clipped onto a bag, and is great for travel. 3. Impressive Bluetooth range. With a range of up to 40 meters, the connectivity is solid and reliable. I can leave my phone charging in one room and still stream music seamlessly in another, granted the range is probably no more than 15 metres in our flat so it hasn’t been pushed to the limit. 4. Stylish and durable design The rubberized finish makes it feel sturdy and durable enough to handle minor drops or bumps. An area where it could do better. It lacks volume at higher levels. While the audio is crisp, the speaker doesn’t quite hold up at maximum volume, it starts to lose a bit of clarity, especially with bass-heavy tracks. It’s best for personal use or small groups, not large outdoor parties. Overall: The Ultimate Ears Miniroll is a fantastic option for anyone seeking a compact, rugged Bluetooth speaker with solid sound performance and true portability. While it’s not the loudest or most feature-packed device out there, it excels in what it was designed for: delivering quality sound in a durable, travel-friendly package. Highly recommend for casual use and travellers who don’t want to spend too much £££.

I bought two of these so that I could have the same music in the kitchen as the garden and i've been impressed! The sound quality is great, they are easy to setup and they sync together perfectly. They are also nice and compact so that they can be stored easily.

Bought this as I wanted something to take away on holidays and was small enough to pack easily. The set up is easy to do via Bluetooth. After listening to the speaker I found that the bass is probably too strong and there is no option to adjust via an equaliser. The other ultimate ears devices have an app that you can adjust the settings to create your own personal preferences but the miniroll is not compatible unfortunately. This would be a great feature if they would develop one. The overall sound is not bad and for a small speaker produces alot of sound which easily fills a room. Battery life is good and is waterproof of you intend using it by the pool or the beach.

Perfect. Works without me in the room. Stick it like a pink heart in a teddy bear and play lullabies or audiobooks. My son uses it to hear backing tracks for his guitar practise. I use it to break the silence at his hockey games by playing Spotify tracks from my phone whilst stood with other parents. Fits in my pocket. Recharges off a USB C lead just like my phone.

A lot of sound, for a little speaker, and a VERY reasonable price! Literally fits into the palm of your hand, it packs a decent sound… appropriate bass and balanced sound. It’s not going to shake the walls, but it kicks out impressive volume that would comfortably fill a hotel room for example when traveling. It doesn’t connect with the UE app, so no ability to adjust EQ directly, but you pick one in the settings of the music app on an iPhone (classical seems to take just enough edge off the highs, and offers a subtle balanced bass boost). Overall for 40 odd quid it’s a lot of sound and great build quality for not a lot of money! It’s certainly up there as one of the best of the mini-speakers. Decent battery and light as a feather for travelling too (no-one needs to take a kilo of suitcase allowance for a speaker!)

I’m actually shocked at how good the sound quality is on this speaker, it’s so good, crisp and has really nice depth because this has amazing bass for such a tiny speaker, honestly shocked, and it gets very loud with minor distortion, which is great aswell. Overall would definitely recommend for a speaker for portability, this will be great for festivals, holidays, etc, and for the price point I think it’s really worth it

Uso l’Ultimate Ears Miniroll da giorno e mi ha davvero sorpreso. È leggero e compatto, si infila in borsa o nello zaino e grazie alla certificazione IP67 resiste a polvere e acqua: l’ho portato in spiaggia e in piscina senza problemi. Il suono è sorprendentemente pieno per le dimensioni: bassi presenti, medi e alti chiari, volume sufficiente per una stanza o un piccolo spazio all’aperto. La batteria dura circa 10 ore a volume medio e si ricarica velocemente via USB-C. La connessione Bluetooth 5.3 è stabile e veloce, e si può anche collegare a un altro Miniroll per l’effetto stereo. Unico neo: i bassi a volume massimo un po’ calano. Nel complesso, un ottimo altoparlante portatile per chi vuole musica di qualità ovunque.

Tiene todo lo que puedas esperar de un altavoz de este tamaño: buena construcción, impermeable, buena batería y un sonido muy adaptable. Creo que por el precio hay pocas alternativas tan buenas como el Ultimate ears mini roll.

For 80 euros the speaker is a bit overpriced. But i got it for 38 euros , which is an absolute steal for this kind of speaker ! If you can get this speaker from 38-60 euros , it is very solid option. I Compared it to jbl clip 5 , this had way better bass and wider soundstage and a warm sound . While the clip 5 get a bit louder and has more crispy sound , had slightly better highs and clarity , but narrower soundstage. This also looks much better and the build quality is very solid . Overall if i had to pick one at the same price , i will chose this one absolutely . As this sound “ bigger” than the clip 5.
