I first came across Saffron at my inlaws but I did not know its use. Fast forward some years, I enjoy many cultural dishes and in this Persian recipe, it called for saffron an essential ingredient. I am pleased with its quality and how much colour and flavour is released from just a few threads. The price is within my budget and will purchase again soon.

My husband has bought supposedly saffron in the past that wasn’t really saffron so we’ve been searching to try to find out what it really taste like because it is very subtle but when you see it on the Cooking show they say it’s very strong. The flavor is so nondescript and unusual that until you really taste it, you can’t truly identify it. Finally with this product we were introduced to the real flavor of saffron. The price was fabulous beautifully packaged. And plentiful I wish that Vendor would have provided some recipe ideas and a little more information about the rarity and specialness of the herb.

As someone who was among the first to sell saffron on Amazon and is now deeply involved in saffron wholesale and cultivation, I can confidently say that their saffron quality is excellent, and the packaging is beautiful. I initially ordered it to use the container for my own saffron as a gift for a friend, but the saffron was so good that I decided to gift it with everything included! One suggestion from my experience would be to consider using smaller containers for lower gram quantities, as it would look more appealing. For example, a shallower container would be better for around 1 to 2 grams, so customers who aren’t as familiar with saffron might not think they received less.

The images are clearly deceiving. It tasted fine, but there is very little in the can. Far less than the images in the ad make it seem.

Ive adored saffron for many years, the amazing flavor it adds to any dish; either saffron being the main flavor, used more for coloring dishes, or adding some for a tea!
