Masterful little unit. We used this player thoroughly before we give it as a gift to an elderly person. A simple "C" usb charges the unit. And it stays charged for portability and if the power goes out. The unit will play both regular CDs and CDs with MP3 files on them. It will not play flac files. The player accepts and plays audio files from solid state media. The controls (including the remote) have good sized buttons and simple operation; good for elderly. The sound is quite good. It has more bass than other units. And there is a built in equalizer so you can set your sonic preference. I used the cassette player and it played a 30 year old cassette as well as a more recent one.

We really appreciate the two units we purchased. They are easy to plug in and charge, and last for quite a while when used to play CDs. We are a little old school and have a lot of cassette tapes, and have had no problems playing these either. We have used them in the car with an auxiliary cord to play CDs on long road trips. Sound is very reasonable for small units. The size is perfect for just about anywhere in the house. The kids use these A LOT for things like audio dramas, books on CD, old Adventures in Odyssey tapes. Overall, these have been great little units, and if we needed more, this would be our go-to for a re-purchase.

The instruction manual was apparently written by a foreign person because it is somewhat vague and hard to follow, but the item itself is well-made and versatile. There is no brand name anywhere on the box. it is rechargeable only, with no auxiliary power cord.

The sounds was good overall. Nice little design. It's a great little CD player. The bluetooth OUT function was useful. I returned it because the cassette tape recording was not good. Way too much hiss and noise when recording from CD or Aux input.

i have to confess i've only used the CD player & radio. i use it in my basement so i had to put some aluminum foil on the antenna to bring in radio signals (no big deal there). the CD player works great.i have not tried the cassette player or the other features. if it wasn't in my basement i'm sure it would get reception just fine. i like that it's litte so it doesn't take up much space and the sound is good. it is portable but i won't need that feature as i bought for lisening to music while i work or my radio programs. the remote is handy.

love this small boombox, it has everything i want and more. you can make playlist on cassette tapes which i have a large collection of CDs and do not have to worry about changing batteries.it has a simple design that is perfect for people who are not savvy. The price is affordable so you do not have worry about breaking the bank.

Ein tolles kleines Radio, das problemlos CDs und Kassetten abspielt und leicht zu tragen ist. Senderauswahl beim Radio, Bluetooth etc. Ist alles unkompliziert machbar. Die Anleitung teilweise allerdings etwas schwer verständlich, was das angeht, also findet man manches auch durch Rumprobieren heraus. Klangqualität ist super. Einziger Minuspunkt ist für mich die Langlebigkeit des Akkus..man muss es recht schnell wieder aufladen, wenn man es ohne ein Kabel benutzt.
