Working well

So much better than the RAC
I bought this battery after one that was bought from RAC 8 months ago for nearly three times the price failed and they refused to replace it, even though it had a 5 year warranty. This battery was the correct one for my car (unlike the one sold by RAC) and it fitted in my car a lot better without needing additional plastic spacers to raise the height. It is a well known make at a fraction of the price that RAC charge and delivery only took two days.

Dead after 12 months
Battery is completely useless after 12 months, won’t even charge. Amazon won’t deal with it and Varta won’t reply to my Emails.

Very happy.
My previous car (Corsa Club 1.2) had issues with starting up in winter time, so that is the reason I found this battery as it was significantly more powerful. After the replacement starting up was not an issue anymore. Then I purchased a different car (VW Golf 1.4 TSI) and the first thing I did was replacing the battery from Corsa to VW before selling it. I did use it for half a year on Corsa and more than a year on VW, perfectly dealing with freezing mornings' starting, I have never had any concerns. Very happy.
