Keeps oil off the driveway
I change my own oil; I've been doing to for quite some time, and it's not fun being under the truck, trying to get the drain pan under the drain plug, and anyone who's done it knows that the oil kind of shoots out at first, and then the arc droops as the volume slows, and if you're working in a breeze, the last bit just gets blown all over, so even with a big drain pan I always bring a bag of cheap kitty litter to soak up any that doesn't make it into the pan - and that's a pain to clean up in it's own right. These pads keep the driveway clean. I'm not using them in any pan, just on the ground - I'm not 100% sure if they're supposed to be used that way, but that's what I do. They're not going to contain a big spill, but they keep the spatter to a minimum, and when you're done, no kitty litter to sweep up.

Don’t waste your money on this, new scissors couldn’t cut it down two size and frayed all around the edge and looks bad and still about splashes oil all over. Better off just using a Walmart $2 washcloth

These are perfect add-on's for the oil/fluid change.
Since the inflation and everything has gone up, including car repairs, I have purchased the tools I would need and have started doing the repairs myself in the garage. First came the floor jack, then the jack stands, and the metric wrench sets. As long as you do enough research and invest in quality parts to do the repairs, the satisfaction of doing the job yourself and knowing it was done properly will reward you with assurance. You would be very surprised how poorly some mechanics do repairs (including the dealers). The last project on my vehicle was the transmission fluid drain and fill. The oil pan was prepped but after seeing how the fluid tends to splash all over the garage floor, I decided to look into these anti-splash oil pads and it worked wonders. Not only it kept me clean from the splash but I didn't have to do any wipe-down of the garage floor. Now, I need to differential fluids on my wife's car and now I am stocking up on these pads.

This mat works great!!
I have been a professional automotive technician for more than 30 years. I use large oil drains under the vehicle. Unfortunately they don’t come with anti-splatter mats. Without them the oil can splatter on the vehicle, the lift, the floor or you. This mat is large enough to cover the entire drain pan and it does what it is supposed to. It feels like the email is sturdy but time will tell. The package does come with 2 mats and they can be easily trimmed to size with scissors to fit your need. If you are needing a product like this I can highly recommend this item.

Will keep oil from getting everywhere
For the shade tree mechanic this should keep the driveway a little cleaner.Pack for 2 adsorbent pads. Rough but not abrasive to the touch, this feel like they will possibly soak oil or t-fuild as well as simply stop it from splattering all over when it drips/floods out of the vehicle.Comes folded into a smaller footprint, but opens up easily to what looks like 2.5' or so square. Not a lot to say about this, but should do the job of keeping your oil and such in a contained area, and once you are done, easy to dispose of.
