Carrom Board Game Set

My husband had been talking about this game from his childhood! I ordered one from a different seller and when it arrived it was not as described. I ordered this one and when it arrived it was perfect! Just as he remembers from his childhood. The quality is great, and I am confident this will be in our family game closet for years to come! A great game board, that is well enough made it will hold up for years! Fun for all ages!

OMFG!!! This is a throwback to elementary school!!! I forgot how much I loved this game until I was teaching my family how to play. Memories flooded back of carrom pieces flying around on indoor recess days. I can almost hear the teacher yelling, “Don’t shoot them that hard! Someone will get hurt!” There is nothing like the distinct smack of a carrom piece being flicked hard and clanking around the board. The quality is decent, but it is just plywood. The print on the board is perfection. It’s pretty enough to keep set up in your living room. Once we started playing, it was a no holds barred competition with Marquess of Queensbury Rules. Just kidding… I have no idea what the actual rules are and have no desire to learn. We played with mostly remembered rules from my childhood. What I couldn't remember, I just filled in on my own. There’s no reading rule books are our house!! We had brackets going, cheerleaders, and a referee. It went into a sudden death round for the championship title. As soon as we were done, everyone wanted to start playing again. I had to take it from them and put it on a high shelf guarded by several toddlers I bribed with sugar. This was hours and hours of family fun. I’m so glad we made this purchase

I had thought the shooting sticks were not included, but I found them. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Used to play this when I was a kid. I was so happy to see this again that I bought 2 of them! One for my son and two grandsons - and another for my daughter and granddaughter. Both families love them! I never knew there were so many varieties of games you could play with this board set - I was impressed. Back in the day we only played one or two of the game varieties so it's nice to learn there are so many more games we can all learn and enjoy playing. The only small issue I had with this game set is that there's no legs or stand that comes with it, so you'd have to prop the game up on a table or something to play... my advice is to use a folding table - like the little wooden tv dinner ones you see all the time, works great with those and it allows the corner pocket nets to hang freely when playing. Other than that small issue, it's a wonderful purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun game you can play with family, friends or even alone - good for just about any age, child to adult (wouldn't recommend for a very small child/toddler due to the small pieces but if supervised with an adult, should be no problem).

Was in perfect condition when it got here. Delivery was a couple days late but product is great.

My husband got this board for our son because this was a childhood memory that he wanted to share with my 10 yr old. We finally open it today the day after Christmas and pieces are missing pieces. It’s suppose to have an equal amount to play checkers and chess and we are missing SIX green pieces
