For full disclosure, I paid for this carving kit with my own money. This kit has everything what a family will need to carve the pumpkins this season. The tools are sharp and sturdy. Very good quality and value for the money.

Sharp and good to handle. It is plenty options. Might be too sharp to be near around children. Be careful there. Works as expected. Recommend

The case is nice and there is a wide selection of tools, but the smaller sculpting tools are not sturdy. One of the smaller tools, the end came out the first time I put it into the pumpkin. One of the smaller exact-o style blades bent with the first use. The five larger pieces were good. The corner carver was priceless, which is where it it got the three stars. The little detail tools though were pretty useless.

This set is awesome! There are carving tools I have never seen and I am really excited to not have to be purchasing new carving kits and tools every year. The tools carve great and are sharp so make sure to be very careful especially if little ones are using them. IT seems to be a well made set and will last for quite a few years.

This is a comprehensive set of tools for making the perfect Jack O'Lantern! The case is nice too, which seems to be made of vinyl and leather. The tool handles feel comfortable and hefty, and it's great that these are made of stainless steel which resists corrosion (but be sure to clean and dry the tools before you put them away). You also have 6 detailing tools in addition to the larger carving tools. I felt the detailing tools should have been a little sharper with more of a cutting edge to them. I want to be able to peel the skin off the pumpkin, kind of like peeling a potato, but these were not quite sharp enough to do that well.

This pumpkin carving set is awesome! The tools seem to be very sturdy and on top of that, they are cute! There is a wide variety and I love that there are tiny tools for tiny details. The case is great! I can't wait to use these and suspect they will last for years.

Good quality set! Not flimsy and works great for carving pumpkins. I love that it comes with a nice case to keep them organized and together when not in use. Perfect kit for helping kids carve their pumpkins.

The media could not be loaded. These are well built and there are plenty of them in the set to go full-on Michael Myers on your pumpkin. I liked the variety of shapes and configurations, especially the inclusion of front-bladed "push" cutting to get things started. I am a 'tool guy' and liked the build quality of these -- I don't think we'll see blades departing their handles or bending under normal use, etc. Sorry I didn't get an actual pumpkin mangled for your information and amusement, but I wanted to get this review posted well ahead of Halloween and let you know this is a great set and well worth having!
