Superb value for this connector set
Have a 7.1 system so needed plenty of cable plugs (28 to be precise!), and this set of 24 allowed me to wire up all the connections at the amplifier (14) and five of the speakers at the speaker ends (10), just leaving the rear surrounds with my old plugs attached. The quality of the plugs is excellent. What makes them so different to other plugs I have used in the past is threefold: 1) They have double grub screws to attach the cable in the plug......single screws notoriously come loose and I've had to refit single screw plugs many times to my speakers, especially after they have been moved about a bit. 2) The outer casing screws off the plug section completely, making it a piece of cake to wire them, and leaves a very tidy finish to the plug. 3) The actual size of the plug is much larger/fuller than plugs I've had before. In fact they are 50% larger than the ones i just replaced. That doesn't mean they are over-sized, but rather the plugs really have to be pushed firmly into the speaker posts to get them in, meaning the connection must be very very good, and highly unlikely they will ever come out of the posts when moving speakers about. Brilliant set of plugs for the price.

Sewell Silverback Banana Speaker Plugs from Amazon
Sewell Banana plugs from Amazon. A well made metal product at a good price helping to make neater speaker wiring for at least 2 x 5-1 surround sound installation from one set. These plugs enable quicker re-positioning of the speaker picture without the hassle of fiddling round the back of amplifiers attaching bare wires to different sound out posts, great. Once the Sewells are attached to each speaker lead with 2 screws for added security, just pull them out and push them in to another position. Once you are happy with the sound set up you may never have to touch them again, but can sit back and feel happy that tight fitting plugs are always giving the best contact for your speaker signals. With all the components available now being attached to ever more comprehensive amplifiers, being able to need only a light and a mirror to see the back of even a tight space installed system to make any speaker moves, one use alone has paid back the outlay in my view. The rest is all free. If the back of the amplifier is in view at all times you get the added bonus of a good professional looking installation. Add some small gauge cable tidy and the spiders have even less of a playground for you to hoover around.

Ok banana plugs but a bit fiddly. Price is low. Quality decent.
These banana plugs are decently built, however I found that connecting them to the wires is time consuming and fiddly because they are attached by small screws. When attacking several wires having to adjust all these small screws becomes time consuming and a pain. The plugs are OK for small jobs, but when attaching several wires patience runs out. Aside from that complaint, the plugs are cheap and represents a nice value for the money. Quality is fine and made out of metal.

Quality product, but one of the plugs was broken
Excellent product and really easy to use. Using good quality cable resulted in a secure grip in the plug. No problems plugging into the amp, although I did expect the plug to go 'all the way in' - but perhaps this is more to do with the amp than the plugs. Only downside was that one of the black plugs was broken. The plug works by removing a screwed sheath to reveal the screws inside which hold the cable in place. Once the cable is inserted, the sheath is then screwed back over the top. On the second plug I pulled out of the pack, the actual 'banana' part (as well as a 'pin' inside) came away from the body of the plug. I'm sure this can be pushed back in, however, it is a tight squeeze, and as I only really needed 5 pairs (currently), the broken one remains in the pack with it's sister 'good spare'. This was the only downside, and if I did require all 6 (which is what was paid for), then I would be miffed, however, as I had a job to do over the weekend, it met my needs just fine. I am not going to send the whole pack back (and undo all the work), just for this plug (unless of course the suppliers would like to send me a replacement spare... to get this up to a 5 star review). Delivery was also exceptionally quick - so this added a 'star' as well.

Good Quality Banana Plugs
After buying an amp I wanted to have a solid way of connecting my cables to the amp. This product was exactly what I wanted. Each plug is of a metal construction and have two screws (top and bottom) to fix the speaker cable to the plug, fits firmly and works really well. My only odd querk - is why 6 pairs? For 5.1 setups, you have 5 speakers and a (active) sub (so if your like me you end up with a spare pair). The connectors are solid so you're unlikely to thread them or break any, so having a spare is a little odd! I guess it might be there for those with a passive sub perhaps? but surely most people dont do that do they? Excellent value, good quality.

These banana plugs have a couple advantages over most other plugs I have used where the speaker cable is screwed down. Firstly the body of the plug is quite narrow and and the screws actually go all the way to the other side of the inside of the plug - so many of these types of plug have screws that do not screw in far enough which can mean that the screw does not grip the cable tight enough before the screw goes all the way through and becomes loose. Even though they are narrow 12 guage cable is no problem - 11 guage may even fit. Secondly the grip in the speaker socket is pleasingly tight. Ignore the others who say that the plug is too big - I would suggest that many of them do not know they have to remove the plastic safety plugs from their speaker/amp sockets. My Audiolab Amp has quite narrow speaker sockets and these fit no problem with minimal effort.

Me siento estafado. Recomendado solo para quienes tirar su dinero.
