This is a fantastic motherboard with excellent aesthetics and a solid set of features. I paired it with a 9800X3D and an RTX 3080, and the whole setup has been running flawlessly so far. Installing M.2 SSDs was a breeze thanks to the EZ DIY feature—no screws or hassle, which made the process super convenient. Installing the GPU was equally easy, and I really appreciate the EZ Release button positioned to the right of the motherboard. It securely locks the GPU in place and makes removal far less stressful. The inclusion of two LAN ports is a big plus for me, as it allows a direct connection to my NAS while still maintaining my internet connection through the second port. I’ve been running my system on the MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX board for a while now ,with my AMD 9070 XT, it’s been smooth sailing so far. Everything mounts solidly, and I’ve had zero issues with stability or crashes under heavy load. BIOS setup was easy enough, and the board automatically recognised CPU and RAM without fuss. One thing I can’t vouch for: I’ve not actually tried the WiFi capabilities, so I can’t comment on how good the built-in WiFi is (or isn’t). I use wired Ethernet, so that part’s just sitting there for now. That said, all the other features — I/O ports, M.2 slots, expansion slots, work perfectly. Not to mention the board came well protected in the packaging. All in all, if you’re building a rig with something beefy like a 9070 XT and want a solid, stable ATX motherboard that doesn’t cause drama, this MSI board has been really reliable and easy to live with.

A well constructed system board. It features a good range of USB connections and was a simple install. My setup was aimed at VR so added 32G of DDR5 @ 6000Mhz and a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU. I now have a fantastic system for VR with 120 FPS on the Quest3. Boot time is lightning fast, almost like awakening from sleep mode. Plenty of space for cooling around the CPU, easy to use customisable control of the system cooling fan speeds and colour. Ample slots for memory and add on cards. The onboard sound is good and the network connection is fast, I like the external connections for the Wi-Fi antenna (provided) is a nice feature. Overall, I am more than happy with the setup and performance. Thoroughly recommended for VR gaming.

This board has plenty of headers for all needs, and nice lighting to top it off. Always useful to have a code LED since ram training can be hard on some boards. Had 0 issues so far and it looks amazing in my build would recommend! I also like that it has a reset and power light up switch with toggle for LEDs not many x870 boards have a lot of features like this one does. A good placed board before the god like series.

This is a super motherboard. It looks good and has a ton of options. Good balance in price and what you get. Updating the bios is also very easy with the flash button on the back side. Installing the SSD is also very easy without tools. Last but not least you get a shark fin Wi-Fi antenna which you can please where ever you want. I'm happy with this product!
